[1.1.1] Evantis's Permastun Build and Stun Compedium

:( comon guys. this build needs alot more love than its getting. im sure theres a lot more we can do to improve this builds dps since its survivability is already very very good. i started using bloodrage for the frenzy charges and 5% life leech which is working out great so far.

I use a frenzy based facebreaker build with Bringer of Rain socketed Frenzy MultiStrike MeleeSplash, EConStun and on non boss mobs every Frenzy hit stuns and grants a charge.

I don't stunlock bosses but the damage is high enough to burn through solo merciless Piety in under a minute and I usually don't even bother switching EConStun with Added Fire to get max boss dps.

Do high physical damage and stuns will flow like water even without stun talents.

Im trying out this frenzy deal and so far I quite like it, my frenzy is only lvl 5 with Q20 and im semi close to the same dps I was with my level 17 heavy strike. Im still stunning all regular mobs and gaining endurance charges no issues as well which is a plus. I am slightly confused how you guys manage to throw in multi strike with that in BOR though.... I am designed to run my main skill off of blood magic and I run 2 auras on my mana for EV and Res so I have to have my BM gem in BOR with Frenzy, ECOMS, melee splash. Id love to get multi strike in there but cannot figure a way to organize it so I can still use my 2 much needed auras. I am using 1H Mace and Shield and not 2H. Any advice on how you guys did this would be appreciated.

I'm now sure how "you can stun everything but bosses!" Is really helpful feedback, since trash mobs are trash mobs and bosses and tough rares are what matter.
you could stun bosses, take out milti strike replace with stun gem

take out melee splash replace with added fire

done..

frenzy + stun gem + ECoS + added fire in BoR for bosses

replace stun gem for multi strike, and added fire for melee splash for normal mobs

ez peezy, might be a bit more mana intensive thats why i took the duelist mana nodes

run hatred + purity because res are hard to get on facebreaker BoR builds

Thats not very much and you have to get some wicked mana regen to sustain constant attacks. I have very little mana left after my 2 auras as well.

I put it there because I had no other free sockets. And switching with Melee splash in some rare situations.

I'm working on this build for Nemesis, current idea is more life/less damage, but I have to check if it will work (I mean how many damage nodes I can drop for still being able to permastunning).


7 Endurance charges all the time (with Merc Oak reward), Increased duration Immortal call for some hard physical damage bosses, 230% life, 7,8% life regen (with charges), +17% block, 79% res all (2% from node, 2% from Purity) and Unwavering Stance should solve any survivability problems, so everything needed is a good weapon.

Shaper Scion node should solve mana problems, if there were still any with auras (Hatred+Purity+Reduced mana support) set on mana.

I didnt mean to offend, sorry I was just curious the reasoning behind it. I would like to know how people are using frenzy, Melee splash, ECOS and multistrike while running 2 auras and not using BM though.... I tried this after putting my auras up and my mana is at 140 but the regen is just so little to have continues attacks. I really dont want to have to put anything into mana regen. I am 1h mace with shield by the way.
