" See FAQ (first page of this thread) for solution. "This may or may not help. 1) Right click the wrapper->Show contents 2) Open wineskin 3) select Advanced->Tools->Winetricks 4) from settings check glsl=enabled and click Run 5) close all Wineskin windows, and try to launch the game" |

Downloaded the latest stable version.
I get this when I load it up. It worked before but I changed the graphic settings to fullscreen and now this happesn Any ideas or where I can find the ini file to reset the graphic options within the .app container? |
|
" That sometimes happens, move the window, or just wait for game to load. that is OSX bug, not the game or port. |
|
" Just relaunch, the 3.7 sometimes crash on startup |

Julus, thank you for your great work on the wrapper. I recently decided to return to OSX and my new 27" iMac should arrive next month. In the meantime wanted to see how the wrapper preformed so I ran it on my old work notebook (MacBook Pro 17" i7 2.66, GeForce 330M, 4GB running 10.8.2) and it ran surprising well (not a great as my old PC but still I was surprised) for such an old and low spec system so I am looking forward to see how it preforms on the iMac when it arrives.

I just died in HC because of the stuttering (known issues, cast spell, FPS spikes). Any fix for that yet, Julus?

Still wondering if there's a way to use packcheck on a Mac ..
The game eventually crashes, which freezes my whole computer, which requires a manual reset, which results in a corrupt content.ggpk file and I've had to redownload it about 3 times in the past 2 days. Guess I'll be making backups from now on :\ Is there any way around a full re-download of content.ggpk? |
|
" Copy a fresh download content.ggpk to another directory as a backup. If you have corruption issues just copy it back in and overwrite the corrupted file. Last edited by cereal3825#1718 on Feb 4, 2013, 12:55:24 PM

" Which wrapper version? It is wise to keep backups of the Content.ggpk file. Right after you have finished downloading the content, make a copy of it and just use it to replace the one inside wrapper when that becomes corrupted. EDIT " Windows users experience lag and FPS drops too, so your problems aren't completely down to Wine. Last edited by krifFinn#4964 on Feb 4, 2013, 1:05:27 PM
