[OSX] Unofficial Path of Exile port - 30/12/2018 status update
" 1. dont play in fullscreen, or, if it freezes, you should be able to alt+tab/cmd+tab back to desktop... Alternatively use Command+Option+Shift+Escape (you need to hold it for few secs) to kill active application. 2. Basically shadows and texture quality. AFAIK post-processing is not working at all in wine. You can dig more in the production_config.ini file (more in FAQ 1st post) |

" This is more like you are trying to install it from scratch? Using my wrappers, you just need to unpack it (DMG is archive as zip or rar, don't run files from there), and then double click, the game launcher should open and download what's needed PS: you don't need Wine installed, it is already embedded in wrapper. |

I loaded up v4.2 using OS 10.9.4 on a late 2013 MacBook Pro, and it seems to work (full screen mode at least). But if I command-tab to another application and then come back to PoE (or cause the application to lose focus any other way, I get a black screen. I've tried with/without post-processing, makes no difference. Any other settings I could change, or buttons I could press to force it to redraw the graphics?

I am currently running the 4.2 wrapper. I am going to try the older versions during the next hours.
I had 3 times in a row a crash in Sarn Slums : Unhandled exception: page fault on read access to 0x00000000 in 32-bit code (0x55c7f819). " Actually no. This is why I prefer to play in Windowed mode. (but accidental resize by dragging corner will cause game to crash...) |

" 4.2 wrapper wasn't made with Snow Leopard support.. but still it's interesting it kinda works for you. |

I cannot run any of the Masters missions. Crash after crash after crash.
So frustrating... |

" As a funny fact the performance of the 4.2 wrapper was actuelly better then 4.0.3. increased framerate, shorter loadingtimes and less latency. I switched back to 4.0.3. The crashing zone was playable. Still the wrapper seems to crash from time to time. Sadly just moving the content.ggpk didn't do the trick this time. Did they change some other files in the POE-Directory during the last patch? |

" Well, we inherit the most rare windows bugs.. the error is in game, not in wrapper: http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/86124 http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/81758 http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/518779 and lot more reported from windows. I'll check if I made any other change in 4.2 and take a look into it, if it is somehow related to windows/wine configuration. |

Just wanted to once again say "thanks" for doing this and working to keep it updated. It's much appreciated. I've had great luck with FM so far and have actually been able to increase the settings and not suffer a lot of graphic loss.
