Sadly i can't tell you from my memory which version i am currently running. Since yesterday i get a x11 exception : "Audio/Sound Effects/Skills/Offering/splode_02.ogg": Unable to create a buffer: 40963 Afterwards POE shuts down with a runtime error after trying to buffer it several times. Edit : i used 4.0.3. This happens when the audio library is not correctly set up (already pre set in the wrapper), were you, by any chance, playing with wrapper settings? I switched to the 4.1.2 version and it seems to improve the stability during the last hours. sadly i have encountered a new error : I got a note in the starting screen : Ocean Water can not be rendered with your graphic card. This will be fixed in a later version. ------ Did they change some animations lately? I am trying to test the old wrappers again tomorrow. Problem solved. 4.1.X are based on crossover wine. They usually implement a lot of changes on top of the code, and possibly did something in the gpu card detection.. .Anyway, can you try 4.2? Just want to add a bit of a FAQ update, since I lost my mind trying to figure this out. 1. Download the correct version 2. Double click to install, you will get a dialogue box, press "Ok" 3. When you open the dialogue box to install you will see either a folder to drag your program and install, or you will not see a folder. a. If you see a folder to drag your path of exile just like any other installation. b. if you DO NOT see a folder, drag the icon directly from the install folder into the applications folder. Also I installed WINE just in case, is this necessary? Might want to clarify if you need WINE Thank you very much for doing this. Two questions: 1. Is there any way or keyboard command that will close the game if only the game freezes so I don't have to restart the whole computer? 2. What are some in-game setting I can adjust to help the game run better?
