I was having crazy FPS spikes whenever elites showed up or when using certain skills. It was unplayable until I went into Wineskin/Advanced/Tools/Winetricks and selected: glsl=disabled. It fixed all the FPS spikes. :) Hope this helps!""

Just go to right-click PoE.app-> Show Package Contents -> Open Wineskin.app -> Click Advanced -> Tools -> WInetricks -> Search glsl=disabled and click run, then close Wineskin.app and play the game. You can change that anytime you want, in the same command list is glsl=enabled.

I will be releasing 4.0.3 by the end of the next week (some behaviour fixes when running windowed mode, and according to crossover, significant performance increase in OSX 10.8.3)

Cool stuff. We'll see how that works out.

Had the same problems in 3.X (running 4.X atm). Damn, dont know what the problem could be.

Actually: Should the port also work with only a touchpad being active (no mouse connected)?

I don't think I have ever had problems with either trackpad or mouse only. But the trackpad can stutter a bit, particularly when you drag items around your inventory.

Hi, Im obviously new here.

Anyways, I have downloaded the game fine and it starts up after a minute, however the menu is so slow and unresponsive that it is virtually impossible to log on. If there is supposed to be a rain effect it isn't working at all, audio is fine, it might just be an issue of compatibility with my mac, but I hope this can be fixed. The game looks cool.

Here are my specs:

Model Name: iMac
Processor Name: Intel Core i3
Processor Speed: 3.06 GHz
Number Of Processors: 1
Total Number Of Cores: 2
L2 Cache (per core): 256 KB
L3 Cache: 4 MB
Memory: 4 GB
Processor Interconnect Speed: 5.86 GT/s
Boot ROM Version: IM112.0057.B00
SMC Version (system): 1.64f5P

Welcome. Macbook air I presume? Which wrapper? Try to lower settings in game option.

The log lists an iMac. But yeah, turn all settings to lowest and close any programs running in the background. You might also mention your operating system and graphics card as well.

EDIT enabled disabled.

i know where it is but was asking if u have to do that everytime or if it will save. so i could just double click the wrapper.

wait the other guy said select GLSL disabled now u say select enabled
Aw shoot. Sorry, I am confusing even myself. Disabled of course.
GLSL disabled makes the game go fubar at start up. However when i re-enabeld GLSL is works like a charm!!
Even the small spikes when i join a full party with aura's en Lightning are gone!

Still waiting on the new update for even greater increase!
Thank you for the port!

Same old problems with mouse offset (in every resolution), some lag spikes etc... but who cares! At least I get to play!

Thank you, again, Julus!
After the latest PoE update I noticed a quite massive FPS drop in comparison with the latest version. Anyone else experienced this ?
Hello I'm getting an error that says "The pack file has corruption that can be fixed by running reclamation."

Here is a log from a test run I did:

I notice you are using the GeForce 9400M. My Macbook has the 9400M and the 9600M GT in it. I'm guessing yours does too. Go to System Preferences/Energy Saver and click Higher Performance. Not sure if you knew this already, but if not it's worth a try.
