[OSX] Unofficial Path of Exile port - 30/12/2018 status update
"It helps only on some nvidias... " Delete content.ggpk from the wrapper - it got corrupted during download " You are the 1st one reporting it. If you got any mission control or macros on mouse click, get rid of them, alternatively try the 3.X version if you are running 4.X and vice versa. Last edited by julus#1066 on Mar 8, 2013, 8:41:54 AM

I will be releasing 4.0.3 by the end of the next week (some behaviour fixes when running windowed mode, and according to crossover, significant performance increase in OSX 10.8.3)

" Had the same problems in 3.X (running 4.X atm). Damn, dont know what the problem could be. Actually: Should the port also work with only a touchpad being active (no mouse connected)? |

" Nice! 1.7.5 not affected though is sad :( . Hope this one works on an external monitor :) (see previous post : http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/48708/page/126#p1896088). Also, noted a very nice increase in performance since the latest patch. I can finally play lightning arrow without too many lag spikes. " Hey, Julus thx for the port!!! :) You have any info on when 10.8.3 might be released? Kinda stuck in cruel because of FPS spikes and could really use some significantly increased performance... :D ign: Enthropian [Ambush League]

Hi, Im obviously new here.
Anyways, I have downloaded the game fine and it starts up after a minute, however the menu is so slow and unresponsive that it is virtually impossible to log on. If there is supposed to be a rain effect it isn't working at all, audio is fine, it might just be an issue of compatibility with my mac, but I hope this can be fixed. The game looks cool. Here are my specs: Model Name: iMac Processor Name: Intel Core i3 Processor Speed: 3.06 GHz Number Of Processors: 1 Total Number Of Cores: 2 L2 Cache (per core): 256 KB L3 Cache: 4 MB Memory: 4 GB Processor Interconnect Speed: 5.86 GT/s Boot ROM Version: IM112.0057.B00 SMC Version (system): 1.64f5 |

Does this version works with 10.8.2?

" This port behaves better on mouse. Some programs or mouse drivers can interfere with wine. (razer and steelseries drivers are OK). " Dunno, this is from crossover changelog, I can't tell what gets fixed, and if the lags will be fixed at all, but at least I am expecting higher framerate... " Welcome. Macbook air I presume? Which wrapper? Try to lower settings in game option. " Yes |

"""Playing on a MacBook Pro with 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo with 4 gb RAM and using the NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT. I am using wine port 4.0.2. I was having crazy FPS spikes whenever elites showed up or when using certain skills. It was unplayable until I went into Wineskin/Advanced/Tools/Winetricks and selected: glsl=disabled. It fixed all the FPS spikes. :) Hope this helps!"" |
