Hey there,
Great job for this port. I have coding experience and would like to help with the FPS drop bug which is driving me crazy :)
I really think a lot of it has to do with the game not preloading content... I was wondering if you have looked into somehow fixing this or what's the status of this issue?
Cheers.

I just simply follow the step on the top.
Thank you
A wrapper (or port) is an application to run Windows programs or games under Mac OS X (and Linux too). There are several versions of this wrapper in this thread for download. You can check which version you have by right-clicking Path of Exile.app and then Get Info.

What wrapper version is that you are using? You could try a different one. Also try lowering your graphic settings if possible.

I looked at this, the best solution would be rewriting all occurrences of mmap in wine code to combination mmap (using map_shared) and pread the content to it. Map_private is slowing the game(s) down. malloc cant be used as the wine often needs fixed memory location...

He is using 4.0.2, you can identify by the wine string in the end of crash log (wine-1.5.15 is 4.0.X, wine-1.5.24 is 3.8) (but the OS version is interesting, Darwin 12.2.0 is osx 10.8.2, Darwin 12.2.1 is ??? (mbpr osx 10.8.2?)
Anyway: when does it crash? In party? In town? During loading? More info please. keep crashing is not a good problem report. (hello, my computer is broken? Yes, and where exactly the problem is? It's broken...)

How can I emulate middle click on V4.0.2?
I can't make it work with wine option.
It worked fine in V3.8.
any way to use middle click without using mouse?
thanks in advance.

for 4.X wrappers, mouse is a must.

Thank you, I've just checked, mine is "Julus v3.7"
and....do I need to change? and how?
Is it just download the "Path of Exile v4.0.2.dmg" at the top?
Do I need to download another 5GB with it? as I just go oversea and network data is limited here.
Thanks a lot

You don't have to download whole 5GB again, right click old and new wrapper -> Show contents-> Navigate to drive_c/Program Files/Grinding Gear Games/Path Of Exile -> move content.ggpk from old to new
PS. if you have limited data, backup your game (right click on wrapper->Duplicate). content.ggpk might get easily corrupted

Thanks for your advise, I just backup it :)
However I don't know how to "right click old and new wrapper "...... as I right click the icon (which I can play) did not have "show contents".
Very sorry about being like a fool here, I am just so new to Mac :(
