The crashes still occur- in fact this problem started several days ago when I was still running 3.6. Before then it had not had serious stability issues. I thought upgrading to 4.0.1 would help, but unfortunately it persists.

Perhaps I didn't to the updating properly? I deleted the old 3.6 version as well as the /Users/<computer>/Documents/My Games/Path of Exile folder before I downloaded 4.0.1 and installed PoE fresh.

nope. you dont even have to delete that directory. YOu can even have all versions beside each other... Please try 3.7, that contains almost recent wine.

Thanks for the suggestion; but with 3.7 I'm having another problem where the mouse pointer moves very choppily (and is rendered with a paler color)...

Hello,

I've tried 4.0.1 on my macbook pro running 1.7.5. It works ok but I've got a big problem and a smaller one.
First the most annoying one: the left & right click seem 'bugged', I have to clic it 2 times for the game to register the move.

Second, the cmd+enter doesn't seem to work. I can cmd+tab once to get out of game but doesn't work to make it active fullscreen again.

Not related but I saw in a post that you don't know why people wouldn't upgrade to 1.8 coming from 1.7. Well I haven't upgraded yet. I don't want the OS to take even more RAM, even with 1.7, I have 8gb and 2gb are taken by mac os.

Thanks!

Edit: the mouse problem: it works when i log in, then after killing the first mobs the mouse glitches. There is like a delay.

in 4.0.1 cmd+enter does not work. Also, if you have any mission controls commands set to mouse, it will interfere with game.

Well, 10.8 is more or less bugfixed 10.7. But I don't encourage people to upgrade. This however might change with 10.8.3 which should contain new AMD radeon drivers...

Hm I don't have any of that. I'm using a Razer Imperator mouse with the mac drivers installed correctly. (Settings window: http://cl.ly/image/060a260f023T )

Hmm, dunno. The mac driver which 4.0.1 uses is pretty much in experimental state, there might be some interferences from other programs as well. You can use 3.X wrapper.

Another question .. how to display my fps .. I heard it's F1 but it only adjust my brightness of my screen.

It seems i've only BIG lag spikes in dungeon and isn't bad when im only 3-4 in big area. But if im 6 players in dungeon.. like vaal boss run .. ouff.. i can't do anything.

Try fn + F1
Running this on my 2006 1,1 Mac Pro. Has been working well enough for me to enjoy the game. Lags here and there but no major complaints. If I really wanted a lag-free experience (more or less) I would just use Boot Camp. This works great for having some fun.
Hey all, Just downloaded the client and patched it. Problem is when i launch the game it doesnt launch. Any ideas please? Thanks!
