OK - real dumb question but how do I right click and middle click?
On a laptop trackpad - Ctrl+click OR hold two fingers on trackpad and click. I'm not sure if there is a "middle click" for trackpad. But seriously, consider getting a proper non-Apple mouse for gaming.

The content downloaded fine but then the window disappeared. When I relaunch it, I see the window briefly appearing and checking the content then it disappears. The log file shows nothing relevant to the issue. PoE will simply sit there without a window. I have already tried rebooting.
I have the latest wrapper (4.0.1) as well as the latest Wineskin engine.
Early 2011 MBP
Mac OS 10.7.5
16GB RAM
AMD Radeon HD 6750M
Go to wrapper and do a Test Run. Right-click Path of Exile.app/Show Package Contents/Open Wineskin.app7Advanced/Test Run. That should open it.

The game contents are installed "inside" the wine wrapper. So the Content.ggpk is located in
Right-click Path of Exile.app/Show Package Contents/drive_c/Program FIles/Grinding Gear Games/Path of Exile/
If your download was interrupted, open PoE.app to continue downloading. The launcher can be bugged and show that you have downloaded over 100% or more that 5.5GB. Just let it finish and you're ready.
If the download can not continue then throw that Content file into bin.

So, my recent experiences with Path of Exile under Win 7 Bootcamped. I don't get disconnects there so that is no different to Wine. What I do get, rather frequently, are crashes caused by that notorious "Out of memory" error. So bear in mind thatthere are problems under Windows that don't occur under Wine.
Otherwise no problems. Enough added FPS to make it worthwhile to boot to Windows. And damn, the game does look beautiful with shadows and everything...

My game has gone completely black except for the life globe and other items right at the front of the screen
My char is completely black the surroundings are completely black and the only way i can see is if I use my map to navigate but i cant see monsters or anything else.
I have reloaded and tried the brightness but hasnt worked... not to mention that this problem continues even if I try to go to a different act or quest....
so basically my game is completely black and I cant do anything
has anyone had these issues? or can help me figure it out cuz i really want to play some more lol

Hey, posting about a recent crash I've twice experienced.
iMac
10.7.5
2.7 GHz Intel Core i5
4GB memory
Graphics card - AMD Radeon HD 6770M 512 MB
Wrapper 4.0.1
The game fails to load and crashes upon start-up. I get an error message saying "Shaders/Renderer/Skinning.ffx: Unexpected end of file reading FRAGMENT block."
I'm currently re-installing from scratch to see if it will fix the problem so I have no access to crash log unfortunately.
that's game bug.. sometimes content.ggpk is corrupted while downloading... Cannot do much here...
Re-downloaded and problem solved. Thanks for the reply nonetheless!

Would it be possible to get a copy of the source you're using to build this? I'm running into a freeze every 30-90 minutes and I'd love to have a build with local debug symbols available so I can attach gdb when it's acting up on me. Is there any way this would be possible?
Thanks!

Hello Julius,
Thanks for all your helps. I solved the mouse clicking offset problem at 1280x720px. But i have another question now.
I get lagspike when I teleport to a new room or when I see a new mob.
Can you please let me know what to do?
I read your first post, my computer requirements meets your requirements. Both graphically and ram basis.

Those errors are shown when inside wrapper version is not 2.5.8, AKA FKNKickass wrapper... Are you sure it is 4.0.1?
When looking on version info, it should be written "Julus v4.0.1". If there is "--" then you are using wrong wrapper.
