0.11.4 Skill Details: Reave
I think the only way to start making claws viable again in comparison to daggers, is if claws get an easy-to-access passive that allows you to get a "vaal pact"-like effect but for life and without the negative effects.

Curses and Totems are the big question here... EDIT: the ultimate 5L i see with this skill is: (for a CI + GR build (maybe + Vaal packt as well)) Phys melee damage + Melee damage on full life + power charge on crit (or increased crit strikes) + increased crit damage -> in this combo it seems quite huge that you don't need a support gem for melee splash While in a 6L you could add Added fire damage as well since it scales so well with physical damage for the ultimate DPS combo with a still huge amount of leech, or faster attacks, witch should also synergise with this skill (+ Blood rage). If you can't cast curse/totems/molten shell/bloodrage/leap slam/lightning warp/ etc etc without it resetting it needs to build up FAST.
Personally I think they should completely remove that line from it. The difference between if it attacks with both or alternates is going to a a game changer as well. Hopefully they just let it be a bit too strong instead of much too weak like incinerate/searing bond. Melle Skills need to be stronger than ranged. Dps while running to and from monsters 0.0. Meanwhile projectile attacks are killing things the caster doesnt even know are there. Furthermore they don't have to stand next to Brutus/Vaal/every rare with Added (X) damage. I've wanted to play Melle for a long time. 2x 75+ Duelists. Can't play either without 10+ exalts worth of gear to stay alive. |
