How much you have invested so far in your current gear?

So far, I think I have spent around 10-11 exalt total on gear.

Current gear I am wearing. Paided 1 exalt + 1 eternal a month and half ago on the chest and the amulet I paided 2.5 exalt. Everything else either I bought relatively cheap or have been found on my own

I intend on changing my gloves out at some point for more IIQ for the lose of some rarity.

The Chest I'm getting Will have 40+% fire/cold resistance with 30% lighting resistance and 800+ ES roll.

And the 5 link on the Axe was not intended. Was trying to fuse it to at least 3 link and just happened to land the 5 within 4-5 fusing XD

Edit: Ya, my gems and stuff are all over. Took about a week off from playing this character and need to re-range everything back into place to be proper

I hardly optained equipment with decent ES. Having IIQ and IIR on these parts is quite utopically for me right now. The best jewelry I've got so far had about 30 IIR or max 10 IIQ, but not on the same item.
I don't want to cirticize this build, because as much as I have seen so far there really is no 'cheap' MF'ing build. If you go for CI Energy Shield will always be your top priority. And if you don't go for CI you cannot negate Life and Chaos Resist on your equipment.
What I'm saying is that in terms of rare items magic find will always be quite expensive. And there seem to be only a few cheap unique items with IIQ/IIR which will, however, decrease your offense and defense by alot.

The cheapest mf'ing setup without totally destroying your build I can think of is:
Gloves: Sadima's Touch for 18-24% IIQ
Belt: Perandus Blazon for 8-12% IIQ
Boots: Goldwyrm for 20-30% IIQ
Amu + Rings: About 70 IIR might be achieved due to crafting and still have some resistances on them.
Head: If you're lucky you might find a decent ES helm with ~30 IIR.

This would be a maximum of 66% IIQ and 100% IIR. (109% IIQ and 167% IIR with gems). And this setup would imho only work if u manage to get your hand on a 500+ ES chest (although attributes and resistances might still be a problem).
