Hi Rathik, I recently purchased a Shavs, was using your CI Matriarch build prior to this.

Not sure how to change up my spec, probably have to take points out of the eva/es nodes on the right and get Charisma to run more auras, was also thinking of getting zealot's oath to provide synergy with Vitality aura..

I'm only lv 86, so that's about 105 skill points, not sure what to sacrifice - dual curses or some minion nodes. Halp please!

I think it would help if you had a plan. You purchase a shav to run more auras?
Which auras do you have in mind? What is your gear? What does your passive tree look like?

Zealot's oath is nice but not a necessity same with 2+ curses.

Hey, I've sorted out my spec, would like some input on it:



Running Discipline, Hatred, Purity of Elements, Purity of Lightning, Vitality atm
And dual curses

Was thinking of speccing out of dual curses to get more minion nodes/es/hp but i'm not sure. Would really like to run another aura w/o using Alphas and be able to recast zombies

I bought the Shavs to run more auras, and go low life to use wondertraps for the 100mf boost. Mostly farming Dom and the occasional map with friends. Zombies are pretty tanky, but they die occasionally if I neglect to watch their hp and pop a flask in time.

My current gear:


/e have 148 mana current with 6 auras, just enough to recast zombies if needed (145 mana). The 30 dex node in my tree is for the haste aura

Hey, for a while now i have seen my energy shield bar reading 0 when i actually do have energy nodes and gear, is it a bug or have i missed something?

Merge is knocking on our door, and that means i can start playing on Standard. To be honest i am a bit tired of party culling, the last drop was when i culled CoE for a party member and got Crown of Thorns for myself, i thought it is pretty symbolic and it meant that the time for a change has finally came.

So i am looking for a build that is able to do 75+ maps on its own and so that it wont take a half hour to do so (dual flame totem bm marauder, i am looking at you).

It seems like this summoner build will survive snapshot removal and it have a room for experiments, both build and spell-wise. So is it really this good?

This build never used snap shotting so there is nothing to survive.

EDIT: Just read until page 7 (Arc is only used for targetting).

I have a question: You wrote about Ethereal Knives. Do you only use it for levelling, or also in the endgame build? I noticed that your current gear uses Arc, not EK...and I'm wondering, if you use EK a lot, why not choose the +18% Physical Damage reward for Cruel Bandit's Quest?

I'm now level 29 So far it works very well even without investing in life passives. But I always leave like 10 points unallocated for when it becomes neccessary.

Ark and EK are utility spells (culling, braking urns, guiding zombies), not to deal damage on the final build, the damage comes from your minions.

Arc and EK will never do enough damage with this type of gear and skill choice.

Ok thanks! This is my first char, so it's great to have some guidance about what will work end-game.

A hint to other players around level 35-40: If you have Spectre and Lesser Multiple Projectiles (both from A2N quests), link them and make spectres of the Voidbearers in the Docks. This allows you to clear the Docks VERY quickly because they just kill everything.

So currently my Summoner is CI spec...I wish i would of went life instead. Anyways was wonderin if it would still work? Just picking up the CI nodes instead of Life.
