2. Is there a way to keep your minions alive while encountering a Storm Herald? 3. In a life build, do you prefer EB for the extra mana for an additional aura? What should be my goal for life entering Act 1 Merc? 4. I think multi-strike is more rare than an exalt. I've still never found one. 5. Read the guide and DO NOT level as a summoner. It will be the most painful experience of your PoE life. 6. Thanks again, this is a very nice guide. |

" You can use items mention in first post to pretty much make your self immune and burn them down with skeletons. Life leech on zombies may help them survive along with light res aura. Well EB is only used if you have enough ES to actually make it worth. If you are close to 3k life you should be fine. Just trade for a multistrike gem. IGN Riokar | My guides

first of all i want to thank rathik for this awesome build.
i've been slowly leveling as a summoning witch and although it was slow, the satisfaction of beating the game with a relative fragile character and low end dps is great for me. learning how to position yourself in the right spot behind your minions, casting the right curse on the right enemy and placing skeletons in the right tactical positions was hell of a fun to figure out. now that i finally got hold of a multistrike gem i start to see how zombies can rip apart any enemy. my RZ is only lvl 16 so they die a lot, but who cares? when they die, they take at least 3 enemies with them thanks to MI and i simply resummon. í'm about to transition to CI and can't wait to see drops getting better as i try to stack MF. last, i have a question for you: what is your take on elemental equilibrium? i plan to run hatred and have evangelists with added fire damage just like you and thought if i could apply lightning with my arc (maybe with chain to hit more targets) my minions would benefit greatly from that 50% less resistances. it's only 1 additional point to your original build and in theory it should benefit greatly from it. thanks again! :) Last edited by Monti_Jones#4875 on Jan 20, 2014, 4:49:38 PM

Sorry if this is spelled out in your guide, but does your summoner have enough dex for a level 20 EK and hatred aura? I don't even have close to enough.

" EK is used for leveling UNTIL your minions can do the damage themselves. After that just switch to any INT spell that you like (Arc i think) |
