then vulnerability is the best option ofc.

btw, it's not about the shield. it's about whether you use bear traps. if you do, use vulnerability. if you don't (and use EK only), then projectile weakness

Thanks for all the comments, glad people are trying it out and finding it works!

I used projectile weakness since EK hits most of the enemies, for single target I didn't bother using vulnerability since bear trap does so much. However once in maps, ppl dont benefit from proj weakness so much so I don't do any cursing unless Im Soloing a map.

This build will not be able to go koams because we need the ES on the chest and shield to have enough mana pool to run AA. If you choose to use kaoms and a staff you would have to settle for a lower level arctic armour, and would require a helm with a crap ton of ES.

Also I will put my current build, (just hit 85!) for the person that asked what the points after 98 look like. I took more health, armoour, and started taking damage.

Just for the record, he can facetank 6l (searing touch) dual incinerate totem even after flammability, and by facetank I mean he takes 0 damage

lolz yes this was tested in PVP, I can tank a 6l incinerate as long as there is no chaos from the infernal mantle.

Also last night I reconfirmed that I can 100% tank the voidbear boss in Cells 73 map, as in I took 0 damage standing in front of it. Cant wait to try out magera.

Why do we need Spell DMG over PSY dmg?

How about going to Vaal pact? I always have my EK linked with life leech, and I've heard that the healing over time effect of life leech caps its effectiveness greatly

ek is a SPELL that does PHYS damage (most things that do PHYS are ATTACKS) so it benefits from spell damage from wands, but not IPD on weapons

on vaal pact i'm pretty sure you don't need it since seething flasks are op and you take 0 reflect damage with arctic armor anyways

the vaal pact idea is kinda cool but I dont think EK benefits from it as much as a fast melee attack like dual strike. Also I am currently not using life leech, and have not found it a problem. I could use leech instead of iron will but I would lose quite a chunk of DPS, and I don't have a 6L chest yet :(

How much DPS do you get from Iron Will? I've not tried linking it, as my strength is low.

It depends, i'm @ lvl 74 right with about 331 Str, my IW gem is level 17 and it brings my EK tooltip up to just a little below 500 dps more. If you've played a bow ranger it seems like such a small increase but with this build that 500 goes a long way.
