I mean, the fuse time with that belt is still 6 seconds........ thats an ice age in an ARPG

Is it too late to ask that the belt be changed to have a range on the reduced duration from 80 to 100?

Mark raised my hope for a different style of play with traps with this thing, but my dreams have been crushed.....

How much effective physical damage reduction is that?
Also, with purity and ele adapt , 40% damage as lightning should not shock you often unless its a tremendously big hit which would have insta gibbed you had you not had the armor anyways.

The ability is to "Traps trigger at the end of their duration".. this would be the ability that GG has. "Trap duration" is a different modifier, so this gives players a 80% reduction, and like you said, GG probably has 100% reduction.

Uhh.. I'm confused.
Here's what I'm reading -

if trap is triggered before new total duration (6),
trap triggers.
if trap is not triggered before x seconds,
trap triggers after x seconds.

I thought traps triggered at the end of their duration anyways?

No they just break otherwise. No effect is fired off.

No, they simply broke.
I wonder, with the belt, if you throw a 4th trap if the 1st one you threw will just break or will it detonate?
That chest is an amazingly well designed item. I don't yet know how powerful it is but as long as it isn't rainbowstrides, koams, shavronnes status I really like it.

I love that chest. I may have to get my hands on some regret orbs to spec into some extra resists. I'm already hybrid eva/armor, because I can't bring myself to give up Ondar's Guile(projectile dodging) lol. My build is already only like ~6 points away from the shock avoiding nodes in duelist/ranger area, and that's 75% chance to avoid being shocked.

Very nice build-around unique, IMO.
