IGN: @Drac_BV - Delirium
What skills use *both* spell damage and melee damage, that have them multiply each other? Is there any build that could use this to reach exponential damage output? (first multiply their attack damage, then the spell multiplies their spell damage its converted into)?
Cast on Melee Kill Scion might actually be good now....you can focus on 1 stat in the skill tree and buff both forms of damage.

too bad its not another way around... if you just could leech with that elemental with some item rather than with a gem^_^

cast on meele crit/kill ? just go for full spell dmg and enjoy mobs exploding
Righteous Fire melee/ranged attack builds are now A Thing (but you'll suffer for it). Cool!
Have you made a cool build using The Coming Calamity? Let me know!

Seems like it would be linear though
I'm trying to think if theres any build that could double dip and use the same % bonus twice, but most melee skills convert their melee damage to elemental and are unaffected by +% spell damage but only +% elemental. Is there something I'm forgetting?

If you have a build that just uses spell damage *or* melee damage on any given attack by it, then this just provides a linear tradeoff. If you take spell nodes instead of melee nodes, you'd be trading one for the other. So your only real advantage would be if you had incidental sources of both, such as items that give both where you were not using the +% spell damage before, and it also enables builds where getting the melee damage up high enough was hard because of that tradeoff, letting you use more than one damage skill while getting the flat bonus to both (righteous fire melee?)

But I'm really interested if there was any way it could be exponential, as per the old D2 masteries on venom/+elemental melee auras/enchant/etc. If this is just enabling builds that otherwise struggled because of too many nodes being needed, cool, but if its opening up a new build for mad damage, could be broken

Great item. Flavor text, not so much.
„I don't give a fuck if it was his tenth anniversary with his goddamn neckbeard...“
„If they think I'm going to let them sweep this pizza guy thing under the rug...“
No mod action. Business as usual.

Which item? Crown of Eyes? I rather like it personally.

Crown of Eyes is now on the wiki.
Avatar of Fire/Infernal Blow/Molten Shell/Righteous fire :

Infernal Blow - Weapon Elemental - Melee Physical Damage

1.25 x 1.6 x 1.5 x 1.6 = 4.8

Simple problem, Cant get enough fire resistance with a 2 hander. :c
