" Cast on Crit Cyclone, with this sword on pure white for half of the screen radius / pure green for super blender speed without using MultiStrike ? I could see lots of build, specially made for "pure color", from this sword. But the mana leech.... hmm, maybe with Mind over Matter ? " Too low of base crit chance for cast on crit builds. Honestly, it's a decent 1h sword for its level, but it won't beat great swords of its level that have more than two good high-roll affixes, and it won't be an endgame weapon. It's just kind of a decent sword from 53 to mid-60's, then you put it back in your stash until you level another toon that happens to use physical swords. The problem is that it just doesn't do great damage, because it essentially has a maximum of two damage affixes. Pure red sockets essentially make it a +22-34 dmg, +75% phys dmg sword with +10% chance to block if dual wielded. At level 46, swords can roll up to 129%, and they can roll more than two good affixes. A weapon with decent +phys damage and +phys % and any elemental damage, attack speed, etc., will just beat this weapon outright. The sad thing is, Ungil's Gauche has better affixes at level 20. Glad people are enjoying the Mace, there are some powerful builds out there waiting to be done in my mind.
The name is a bit of a shoutout to Wheel of Time, my favorite series of books. "When I close my eyes, I see this thing, a sign, I see this name in bright blue neon lights with a purple outline. And this name is so bright and so sharp that the sign - it just blows up because the name is so powerful... It says, "Diamond Supporter."

The new "sword" is not a sword at all. It is a hybrid between an off-hand booster and a shield.
And is actually pretty damn powerful. If I put it on my double strike melee splash build in the off-hand it provides easily 4-5k dps to the main attack at the expense of losing shield armor. |

Ahh, I assumed the mods were local, not global. Somewhat misread it. That's probably because I'm playing XCOM and not really paying attention like I should be. ;)

" We really need to figure out what the heck the recipe for white sockets is. I dont think cast on crit would be good, but having a cyclone that big will probably be useful for something. |
