That's interesting. The game data for 1.0.0d currently lists The Taming's all resist at (10 to 15)%. I wonder if there was a silent update or perhaps a typo/bug in the game somewhere.

It's effectively a nerf. The mechanic isn't the big selling point on the boots anyway though, so in reality, most people won't notice any difference. It's a bit like saying you smashed a spider that was twice the size of a flea - just because it's 2x as big doesn't actually make it very big in the end.

Edit: I always thought Blood Dance and Darkray Vectors were two of the coolest uniques in the game, but never came up with a build that really utilized them well as a core item.

Question to GGG: How many times does the taming stack increased damage? Quite a bit of speculation on this over on the reddit forums. I'm pretty certain it's a max of 3 (1 per status ailment) but some on reddit have guessed 5 (as shock can stack 3 times) and some said infinite (as burn can stack infinitely though only the highest damaging one is the only one causing damage).
If there is anything I can do to test damage values on the ring or something let me know

I don't understand your question. Each time you do an attack the buffs of the ring are applied to that attack, or not? Can you elaborate what you mean with infinite stacks?

If you're wearing Darkrays it has a LOT to do with your boots.

For Blood Dance it's only really tangential.

Maybe my brain is working properly.. Can someone please explain to me how the Blood of the Karui with 30% reduced recovery speed is 4.3 seconds? and with 23% reduced speed ends up at 3.9 seconds?

Sanctified Life Flask has a base duration of 3 seconds.

3 * 1.3 = 3.9

3 * 1.23 = 3.6

I think there's some fail math going on somewhere.

.03 of 3 isn't large enough to be .1.
