Tyr's **0.11.1** Pure Elemental Bow Spec

So much pain 5/6L this. Burned smth like 400-500 fusings on it, not a single 5l =\
All what im doing now is farming alteration (8:1 Fusing).

*edit : dont look at gems, they just for leveling there.

Seriously guys. Deaths harp is a nice bow and all but i think you are praising it just a bit too much. Once you hit 65ish you will be way better off with a thicket/imperial bow with decent stats. One free arrow only goes so far, and it sometimes misses singeltargets because of the awkward split of the arrows.
This build at it's core isnt much different than other LA builds, and they don't stick to DH late game either.

Ye. Im 72 lvl. And DH is MUCH better then any rare bow so far. ( i even got bow that was sold for 2 ex ).

Rare = 6k dps LA
DH = 4.5k dps * 2 = 9k.

I gonna swap DH for Lioneye's Glare, but i dont wanna buy it for 30ex.

You cant just do x2 on the dps.. Then you might as well run lmp and do x3 or x4 with DH. Get a 5l and run the LA combo with lmp on a good thicket. You will do more real dps, miss the target you're actually aiming at less and lmp + chain even more shock stack then DH. Just try it. This thread

I never said it was better than any other bow. I said its the best bow for this specific build. What build are you using?

A few days ago I acknowledged that its possible an amazing thicket bow with damn near perfect +lightning and +cold dmg and aps and crit chance could possibly be more effective. Since I have yet to find one I cant make this claim. I'm not so stuck in my ways as to never look for replacement for DH. A replacement hasn't emerged for me to test against.

You do realize that at the end of CB each LA was doing 7500+dps? 15k per attack. Light dmg has been scaled down a bit when compared to the gear I had in cb. Even so, I expect to be in the 6kx2 range. Additionally, when a DH is used with Ranged Attack Totem it shoots 2 arrows. Read previous posts to understand how versatile 2 arrows with chain and ice shot along with faster projectiles/attacks can be.

Mind posting your build? 4.5k x 2 is excellent. What is the dps for Ice Shot + Chain? I'vr always wanted a Lioneye Glare. I gave one away in CB before it was removed from the game but have yet to get my hands on one since.

Im at lvl 55 now, act3 cruel and i die sooo easily and i do shit damage with my LA.
My LA damage is about 400 only and i dont know what i can do to get my DPS up.
I dont have a Elemental damage support gem and i seem never to find one.
Is this gem dropped at higher lvls only?

Even if i swith to ice shot or other i seem to get low DPS.
Maybee my gear is shit i only have rares and only found 2 uniques.
Very hard build if you dont have gear i think.

I would love some advice.

Ill whisper you in game. My 55 shadow met an untimely end in HC thanks to greed and idiocy. I'm now on default in a3 cruel.

Could also do with some guidance. I am lvl 50, have deaths harp but am lacking anything more than 3 link items, even with more I cannot afford the increase mana cost. The Harp I use has 4 slots but only a 2L by 2L. Can any item be fused to link together, so can it actually become a 4L or is that a hopeless waste of Fusings?

I do pretty well AOEing with Ice Shot - Chain - Mana Leech, but the damage is fairly low.
Also, for single target how do you even get both arrows to hit the same guy? I always see one fly by.

At what point does Lightning Arrow get better than Burning? Right now Burning does hundreds more with Elemental damage than LA does.
