[1.0.5] - Lvl 100 Blastrophe's LA Life Based Crit Shadow w Video (Lioneyes or Voltaxic)

Sick gear and character!Since i ve always played melee and i am a total noob when it comes to bows i have a quetion.LA is based on conversion of physical damage to lightning.Voltax has pathetic physical damage,but sick flat lightning damage.Wouldnt be better if frenzy was used for AoE as well?Wouldn it provide higher DpS,considering that you have 6 charges and you gain 18% increase attack speed per charge?Also have you considered using blood rage for 10% life leech and dropping the life leech gem?Possibly paired with blood dance?(i am sure you have considered these things,just want your opinion on the matter),Thanks

a skill tree for duelist would be appreciated since this is the only thread on any PoE forum that is a viable life build with voltaxic.. :(

LA is only based on conversion to physical damage when you have a physical damage bow. The flat lightning is more than enough of a base to get you started. Alot of other people also think that because it has little to no physical damage that its completely useless when it really isn't because even tho it won't convert ALOT it will still convert some with the already massive amount you get from the flat lightning damage on the bow. Frenzy on tooltip does reach higher DPS than LA but it doesn't clear any where as fast because of how much area damage LA does ( due to chain and the chain that LA has aswell ) As for Blood Rage well you'll die. Blood dance boots I thought of for awhile but you don't benefit much and the build is somewhat short on res since its unable to run purity ele weakness maps are extremely hard to cap resist on. Oh and the attack speed increase and physical damage increase that are generated from your single target also help out your LA attack faster and harder.

When my build was in alpha stage I was always trying to make it work with it but the start is somewhat useless. It takes ALOT of points to come out of the duelist. It is also a tree that leaves you with alot less HP options which at endgame isn't acceptable at all. Duelist also wasn't an ideal starting point for me because of how many points I would need to spend to make it work for crit quickly because of how many points spent starting off. Granted I do like the duelist tree for a non crit build which I might actually do when im not mapping on my main character :D

For long term play ranger because of the evasion and life % start on the tree. If you want more dmg I suggest shadow I don't have a problem staying alive either.

So theres just no possible way to make a viable crit-life Voltaxic build with duelist?? Should I try the typical non-crit build???

I don't know what to do besides reroll, and being 82 I'd rather not..
