Recommend Hatred aura, or you may consider Grace, and of course if you haven't capped resists then Purity.
There will probably be an update for 1.1, after testing of leech changes. Life leech should remain just fine, due to the Bloodseeker, but mana might become enough of an issue that the BM gem is necessary instead of just a possibility. mkay, the build works for me, i died like 15 times till cruel but mostly because i was rushing, i died 3 times from dominus minions (the 3 guys from the start) but i didnt die to dominus himself (i had to tp 2 times for potions though)

For people like me, interested in Acrobatics
As evasion lover, let me reply with Acrobatics variation, used and tested with current 1.1.x patch.. This variation revolves around ability to evade, dodge and block incoming damage, was able to solo merciless Dominus with no real problems, aside of dying once to his first form spirits due to desync putting me right back in his face so he can shotgun me, no portal scrolls used Also did some 72/73 maps, without real problems, with MF gear In case someone wonders, my mana issues are solved via Wurm's Molt, thus no Mind Drinker node Current skill tree, lv 76 And this would be the 120 point plan which will, I assume never come true, since I plan on moving to other leagues Last edited by Songweaver#4672 on Mar 7, 2014, 5:05:16 AM

I ran a couple of test maps, nothing big. Conclusion: it's about as hard to sustain on mana as before, during the fight; no more backing off to recharge though. Pity, as I used to do that a lot. BM's always going to be the more reliable method, though given the extremely low mana cost of Reave, this is debatable.
DS: sustainable on mana while fighting, runs out almost immediately if you don't hit any mobs Cyclone: ditto Reave: sustainable always and there you have it. Before you or anyone else start with Multistrike advices, allow me to express myself: I hate Multistrike...while it is great gem, great addition to most melee skillsets, I don't like it because it is clunky, and faster attacks give me absolute control over my actions, whereas multistrike renders me unable to have that during the animation..even though the animation may be less than half of second, I find it clumsy, and dislike not having absolute control at any given time Flicker added fire is leveling gem, place reserved for melee damage, and added fire from dual splash should be replaced later on with melee on full life once I obtain it, or I'll stick with this one, still unsure on the actual outcome.. Flicker main usage: when I feel I desynced, I hit flicker to start the leech process Axe for culling, nothing biggie in there This was current setup, since I was oriented towards farming, and enduring + immortal, while it lasts merely less than a second was more than enough to heal up if I fall drastically low due to more hits connecting than usual since I have no other possible way of mitigating damage.. For harder map rolls, I end up replacing aurseize with another mediocre gloves, goldwyrm with hp dual resist boots, and use Doedre's instead of rarity, for dual curse setup with enfeeble and temporal chains, while running purity of elements to complement my lacking resists.. That kind of setup requires the usage of one mana pot occasionally, but it's something I can live with Specific use of totem goes for harder maps as well, since I don't really own GMP, I ended up with flame totem+lmp+blind and added chaos, which is actually there just for leveling... Rounded up, I have, with grace, about 50% to evade, 40% to dodge, 47% to block incoming damage, and I further decrease chance to be hit via blind totem... Enhance is for leveling gem purpose as well I used different chest earlier, with fire resist only and 2007 evasion, and I didn't experience any difference between this and 67% evade, so I decided to stick with this one since I struggle with resists, until I manage to find anything better (self found) With this shit gear, and lousy 9k damage, this one is able to clear 72's with ease, but has decent problems with map mods such as degen, and especially with monsters deal additional X damage as Y, due to lower hp (if more than one hits connects, there is risk of falling drastically low).. Reflect isn't an issue, as you know, you can dodge and block your own physical reflect, and even if it reflects, I won't wind up dead due to not having ZOMFGHOLYJESUS 100k damage.. Anything else is doable, one way or another, as said, only real death was merciless Dominus, and couple of others were simply testing the capabilities of dodge with and without blind against Vaal Smash, which should be even easier now, since this patch made it an attack, meaning you can block it as well.. Even temple Piety isn't a problem with ~2.8k shit low hp if I replace head with Fairgraves, which I tried just because Jackie promised me 3 exalted if I proved her wrong (she claimed that I can't run higher maps with such low hp and without shiny endgame gear) Also, do note: that specific offhand is there just because I struggle with resists, especially since I don't want to rely on purity when I have other options I hope this sums up the answer to your question and hold future answers to possible questions.. Let me know if there is something cloudy, that wasn't explained properly Can't claim that it's HC viable, since I never played it, I played evasion and dex based characters with zero armor in most games, and relying on evasion alone is not something I'd reccomend for HC leagues, even with dodge and block, because if something connects more than once, it will hit like a truck Last edited by Songweaver#4672 on Mar 7, 2014, 5:48:41 PM

Build still works wonders after the changes.
I even sorta messed up the build, but i'm lazy and do not care to spend the currency to fix it as its not even necessary. I run out of maps, not gear/build walls. With my crap gear (my offhand claw is sorta a joke, doesn't even have +phy dmg) I can down the Spider no problem, really. Something worth noting. Abyssus just makes this build that much better, which is crazy. You leach more from the + dmg then you do in receiving dmg. I drop to 1/3 or lower often, but before I blink i'm topped off full hp again. Granted, my build has some armor (no nodes though, just gear), I couldn't make up my mind on evasion so I didn't get the dodge keystones with the exception of projectiles. I did have some issues with maps 75+ until I did a Cast on Dmg+Decoy Totem+Temp chains+Enduring Cry. At some point I want to get back into using Blood Rage, I stopped using it in maps because it would do A LOT of dmg when going for 100+ QTY maps. Icing on the cake really, it is not necessary to use. My Passives so far: Here is some of my gear. I have 4.3k HP, 31% leech, 75/65/75/-60 resists. I swap between 1.10 bringer (just got one from a friend), but prefer Abyssus.

Any word if this build is still HC viable with VP skilled? It dropped to 40% effectiveness and i'm curious.

" guy above you just said its still as good as it used to be.. with the low hp I wouldn't use such a build on HC but i will probably give it a shot on standard when i get some time. |

Opinions on this? For HC, got a bit more HP and dropped some damage. I do not plan on using blood rage therefore no need for frenzy charges.
