(Aug 19 NZT) Hardcore No-Party Ladder Race

This is going to be the hungriest event ever! Look at all this competition, plus a lot of new players are getting into the races.

I always thought witch was a terrible solo compared to marauder/ranger.

I'm not sure why there is an argument over this. Sometimes I want to cooperate with my friends and sometimes I want to compete against my friends so why can't we just have both modes?

Speaking of fairness, how about a ladder race without Phase run ?

While I don't think having phase run is unfair since it's a guaranteed quest reward at a specific point in the game, it would be interesting to see how much phase run speeds things like levelling up, by having a race without it.

I never get phase run any more, you only get like 1 chance to get it as a ranger.

When playing Duelist I've considered not even taking phase run, at that point you have to decide if you want Viper Strike OR Fire Trap, both of which I love to use and help considerably in their own way.

I am thinking of making a char just to get phase run from gylph quest then giving to my witch from stash.. would only take a few minutes and I would imagine the speed boost from having it over 3 hours would help a lot.

I predict that this is going to be an awesome race. I have noted that several of the "Top" ladder racers on my friends list have all been doing practise run after practise run. As if we haven't had enough practise already :)

PLEASE GGG - We really need a /myladder command for these races. /myclass would also be awesome. - Another little patch will NOT be frowned upon - lolololol

I've done that as well as other things in previous races and I must be honest it didn't really make that much of a difference to my race. Now days I just run my race with whatever drops.
