Died at the same point due to that lag, but I didnt need to reconnect - my character dropped dead by himself after about 10 secs...

Stupid me. Died at 2 hours and 43 minutes... got careless as I was rushing something... was no point at 2 hours and 43 minutes in.

Apparently, people can still get to level 28/29 maybe even 30 solo. Nice to know. I'll probably never do it, but at least someone can.

I was surprised. Have to eat my words for dinner I guess.

Though it looks like that will be confined to witch/marauder and the other classes have to be carried by a party to make it that high.

Still interesting.

Was fun.

Have to radically change my strategy. Didn't move towards finishing Act 2 until I hit level 18 and that was too late... shouldn't have diverted for experience grinding.

Had a go at race hc for 2 attempts today.
First ranger died at 8
2nd duelist got outta sync on rocky part after ledge, and died lvl 9

Enjoyed the experience anyway and would do again, did find it very difficult to get good weapons armour tho on duelist run thru, even went back to farm mudflats to try for items.

Significantly different results here as far as I can tell. Hopefully this encourages at least 1 solo-only race league per weekend in the future.

This was fun, but I only got to lvl 20 and not sure why so bad. Archery is low damage at low levels and bad AoE. I only got poison arrow and LMP like 30 min before then end.

Stayed alive but spent an astonishing 45 mins trying to scrape together enough Cold Resist to be able to kill Merviel as a Ranger.

Ended up creating a new Witch to get a Blue Skill Gem to sell with an Iron Ring for a 26% CR Ring which made all the difference.

Anyone else have the same issue? Especially on a Ranger?

Well I just used the race to start my first hardcore-char :P

I expected him to die very soon, but actually he survived the whole 3hours (well I was 10mins late or so, and got something to eat in between, but he should survived at least 2,5h :P).

Got a little trouble with brutus (could have ported out to refill flasks... but naaa) and had to kill him with firetrap, since I only had 12 hp and 13 Energy-Shield left and nothing to regenerate^^, was fun though (well... I thought about 10mins with him this way :P).

I will most likely start the next HC-Char during the next race, since I only reached almost lvl18 with this one, it should be possible to top that :P.

Actually the below average performance of my laptop would normally disallow reaching a really good position, but I guess it isn't only about competition with others, but about competition with yourself, since even if you can't beat others you could still try to beat yourself.

So Skullbane the 2h-Mace-Marauder (I know kinda lame :P Templer is next^^) will have some time in hardcore the next week, I hope he survives until the next weekend :P

EDIT: Had the same problem with coldresistance. Decided to try Merveil without and finally succeded.

Was fun, 3h gone by so fast lol. Only hit 20lvl at 10sec left haha..
