You mean the 2nd one? Is it a good option? I hope I won't end up with a huge hp pool dealing little dmg.

I theory-crafted a new LA build which is based on marauder as a starter, I would say this is better than Petrov's "tanky LA build" and all the others I've seen in terms of hp, and atleast similar in terms of damage.

I'm not entirely sure if 184 dex is enough though.

Well, the build is practically the same. You are using 2 more points and not taking the first few nodes in the ranger zone, so you're getting +32% extra hp, +30dex, elemental adaptation in exchange for 48% evasion and 6% attack speed.
It doesn't make much sense for you to go towards the ranger area just for iron reflexes and those weapon elemental damage nodes, you should go towards the templar side. But then again, you'll most likely have dex issues.

hi guys! I have been considering a build that looks like this:

http://www.pathofexile.com/passive-skill-tree/AAAAAgIBAdECcQSzCC4MfQ6tEH8UTRR1FSAWbxmFGYoZjho4HRQkqiaVJ-0ppSpNKlss6S2DMok1hjWSNns26TqzOuE8LT8nSn1N407IUzVVS1XGVvpX4lnzY6dmnmegZ71tbG17bqpyqXK7dEF35Xq4fNmHdojxj0aQVZcGm42boZu1naqiAKJAplenCKeEqW6sWayqrpOv67Q4tUi18rc-uJO5zcAaxKLE9saexq7LQc9l0NDSGdN-1tHdDd1G42rlGedj7Djtg-4O7m_wH_JF8930-PrS-_X8TvzF_gr-jw==
(0 skill points left)

This variation still preserves the theme of Petrov's "tanky shock stack" build but with a few twisters. As opposed to gettgin blood magic the skill node, we get blood magic the gem (and perhaps quite a few of them). LA gets hooked up with it, and maybe a couple of auras that only reserve a flat amount. The motivation is for more skill points, and thus more hp and damage in general. The problem, I think, with Petrov's version is that the build by itself does not guarantee enough damage to shock! Here we can get both more hp and damage! In addition, we can even run more auras especially the % reserved ones! Then i would suspect that this build has more flexibility. Running Haste and Determination is now possible. We can always hook up wrath, anger, and grace with blood magic and reduced cost support gems, so we are not missing out on the blood magic skill node.

What do you guys think?

Hey guys, I had this combo paired up "Lightning Arrow + LMP + Life Gain on Hit + Added Lightning Damage + Faster Attacks which is RRGGB.

I removed Added Lightning Damage and replaced Life Gain on Hit with Weapon Elemental Damage

Wow, what a difference! I'm not sure why I didn't do this sooner.

3 Chromatics Later

A much better combo, 1050 DPS buffed to 1700 DPS buffed

I'm using Tanky dps. I've hit 62 lvl and now I'm starting to wonder:

Main portion of dmg comes from ele, as someone had already pointed, we could erase Perfect Aim, and put those points on Inner Force (and its vicinity) for better auras. That SHOULD generate more dps, right? Or am I mistaken?

In the long run innor force dorsnt only add more dmg, it even increases ur defense. So no sense in keepin the projdmg. Since it also adds roughly dmg. Was about 200 or so for me if i remember right and i had like 3k la dmg. I also screwed goin to the marauder startin section since there r a lot of wasted points and instead took the route to celestial walker.

That's actually pretty smart.. Here's the build after some changes:
Passive skill tree build

This saves up 4 points, which can be used to get Perfect Aim, Body and Soul or +8%Hp, +6& to all res and +8% move speed.

if you take the two int nodes from templar to inner force, you can remove 3int nodes in the top left and save 1point
Hey Folks,

I'm currently sitting at 38, building the first high dps build. I went this way because i'm duoing with a real life friend who is playing a templar summoner. Do you see any reason why I should consider going hybrid with build 2? Is there a primary reason more people have migrated to the second build?

Thanks,
Amay

This looks pretty great to me, I was going to head towards marauder area but i think ill do this instead.
