Usually people call this flat elemental damage.

Can try doing the maths. If you char has total of average 100 elemental base damage:

20% = 20 damage.

Then you compare it with a 5-25 cold damage, 25-45 fire damage and 3-55 lightning damage. Only fire and lightning is better than the 20% increase elemental damage affix. That's why I remember I've read somewhere that flat elemental damage is better than % elemental damage. But that also depends on how much we are talking about.

the only real problem with this build as of now is mana, since most mana leech on gear applies to "physical damage"... and guess whats rather low on 2-3 ele grove/thicket bows... right, physical. at least on midgame/levelling items.

also, the gem does work in odd ways. it seems i have to actually TARGET a mob so that it applies, which is bad, because usually with LMP i tend to "aim" short ahead of mob groups. feels like that doesnt fill the mana bar at all, tho theres mutliple hits/crits.

or maybe its just lag related. with that being said i will certainly NOT spec into blood magic ^^

edit: lvl 56 after patch, was physical before that and found it wayyyy to gear dependent. seems the same issue with this build.

I suppose I'll have to add a Lioneye variant now - of which people have posted lots of good ones already. Managed to force chance this and 6L with only 60 fusings, which was a complete fluke (I was going to stop when I got to 5L, but I didn't hit any 5L in 60 fuses).

You got so lucky with those 6L, i spent almost 500 fusing and got only 5L. :(

Anything better. If u want specifics, then u have to see u lack what. Resist? HP? DPS?

I would choose for sure move speed on shoe in addition to the above.

Flat elemental damage (xx-xx) over % increased. Also with consideration to my previous post about the difference with these 2 types base on the amount increased. Both are good nevertheless.

Rare gears have 6 affixes. Almost godly to have all 6 relevant affixes with high rolls. You weight and see what u can find.
