And what about skills and supports? They'll be world drop only with random, or they'll be at the chests and depend on the clfss?
Sorry, if that question was already asked, but I'm really curious.)
A cathedral dungeon with 15 levels?
This brings back some memories of an old game... Thanks GGG, you're amazing.
Time to start thinking of clever race names based on 'Descent'.
Gonna be fun playing different classes and coming up with different specs. |

Hm intersting, probably 1st event I will play.
However I would love to see some events with your parent char on your parent league. Last edited by CookieVortex on Jun 24, 2013, 4:05:28 PM

" +5 for these. It's hard enough working every day and having time to actually play these events that quite often are in unsocial hours. More rewards for casual players! |

I post my concerns again... a dungeon with 15 lvls in 1 hour... So I will up my character to lvl 15... 30... 40... 70 in 1 hour? or all progress is saved between Descent Races?, I mean Character is not destroyed unless I get kill or Season 3 ends? Or I need to made 1 character per Descent Race?.
It will be great if when the race Ends, every character playing the race gets teleported automaticaly to 6char Arenas and the last standing char wins more points or something special, maybe some good item to start the next Descent Race in this way he start with some advantaje, I mean he is the winner, and I guess that in this way you not only encourage PvM Races but PvP "Races" too... This sounds awesome.
A couple concerns: I think chest contents should be fully documented before the season begins. I appreciate that its meant to be about the new discovery aspect, but i think the new areas, monsters and bosses cover that well enough, and signatures were supposed to be about player skill overriding other factors. Unknown progression items is going to turn the first several (or perhaps more, if the areas are hard enough that it takes multiple events for anyone to reach the end) events into crapshoots as players unknowingly take chests with unusable or worthless items and end up stuck with a broken build or dead as a result. The hard cap on dungeon size and inability to backtrack could mean that progressing quicker actually puts a player in an unwinnable situation if someone else gets to the end 5 minutes slower but has grinded more xp en route. Is there a system in place to prevent this or similar from occuring? Something like monster generators in the final area comes to mind as a potential fix, or an xp bonus for time remaining upon final boss kill (if the design allows this to be a problem in the first place). Oh and i do hope there are orb rewards on a per-event basis. Looking forward to the new season! IGN: KoTao Last edited by KoTao on Jun 24, 2013, 6:22:53 PM

Sounds very interesting and perhaps will be more fitting to my non-rushing game play style than previous race. Looking forward to it.
One question: what about the reward points? Will the points rewards be scaled towards new player, too, giving them chance to get some prizes? What about the length of steps between the prizes? I hope there won't be anymore such big step from 30 to 60 points as it was in season two, which was impossible to cross for casual players like myself and forced us to quit racing at 30 points altogether. |
