Trinkets (similar to charms in Diablo) that go in the potions belt

Well, your potions does give you extra buffs.. I'd rather have, that they just kept working on that system and expanding it with even more different buffs. It's pretty much the same as charms, except you have to be smart about when to use it.

Well, you're SOL then, because if you'd read the Common Suggestions stickie you'd know that GGG is against charms/trinkets or anything that require you to sacrifice inventory space for a bonus.

Sorry, I assumed you'd spent 15 seconds actually reading the original post.

I view this as being roughly the same thing as it's eliminating a potion slot. I did read the first post (hours ago), but I admittedly forgot about that aspect of the suggestion.

Still, I sincerely doubt this is going to happen, and I don't know about you, but I use ALL my potions anyway.

Like the guy above us said, Potions with enchantments are already like timed charms. Let's be happy with that for now.

It's just not that interesting of a gameplay mechanic. A plain passive buff instead of dynamic cooldowns like flasks is boring.

Gem slot. The trinket has a gem slot.

I'd prefer new types of flasks to be introduced before something like that. As others have said to me it's just plain more interesting to have an active ability you need to figure out when to use.
Yeah, they already have stuff you can put in if you don't need more health or mana. Ruby, emerald, sapphire, diamond, granite flasks...
