Hi,
I'm using your Elemental Split Arrow Build and I'm current level 74 having too much fun with it! Although, I have some questions. First of all, i really cant decide whether to take unwavering stance or not. I could sacrifice some life nodes and take it but dont know if it's worth or not. I would be happy if you can help me about it.
Another thing is I cant do maps with elemental reflect. I tried one and saw that I'm hitting myself way too much. This are my items by the way:

What should I do about reflect?
Your life is too low. As my guide says, I highly recommend having life on all pieces of gear. You can make an exception for Alpha's Howl considering it's amazing for this build, but never use more than one or two pieces of gear without life. Even so, that is very odd. I have never had issues with reflect with this build. Are your resistances all at 77%? If your LGOH gem had 20% quality it would give you an extra 10 LGOH. It would increase the amount of life you got back from split arrow by 25%, which if you think about it, is massive. Something to think about it.
As for US, that is up to you. Do you find yourself getting stunned a lot? I'm currently playing an EK scion build I made and I do not use US, though I used to be a huge advocate of US. I hardly ever get stunned, though I have about 6400 life. I would imagine you probably have somewhere between 3.7k and 4k depending on which life passives you've taken so far. More life means less chance to be stunned. If you find yourself dying often while you're unable to move or attack due to stuns, then it would most likely be worth it. Though your best bet is most likely to keep your life nodes and get more gear with life on it.

Yeah, I have 3.7k life hope to reach 4k asap though. Then, I think I should upgrade my boots and topaz ring for life. As for getting stunned, I dont really get stunned too much and thanks to Alpha's Howl I dont get frozen at all. However, I often do kiting just to make sure that I dont get hit and stunned. Thanks for the advises.

Depending on what level maps you want to do, you might need more than 4k life. If you plan to do 76+ maps, 4k is not enough. You should aim for at least 5.5k.
I'm using this build with my lvl 80 ranger, and i find it really fun. It's effective even in high level map, if you have a good enough ele bow, and it clears them quite fast.
At the moment i have 4.8k life, 5.3k split arrow dps and 11.5k frenzy dps (without charges). With the next levels I'll take some more life nodes, because now I think i have a bit too little life.

I made a video of me doing A Plateau map (lvl 75), if anyone is interested

You mind if I put your video in my guide? I'll credit you for it of course. Unfortunately I'm unable to record a gameplay video of this build. I stopped playing my SA duelist a couple months ago and while I kept most of the gear, I sold my bow. I will get a new bow when I play the character again after a big patch which contains changes to duelist and/or the skills this build uses.
I'm curious though, why don't you ever use elemental weakness? Also, do you have any sort of mobility skill on your weapon swap?
By the way, nice gear! Especially your quiver and amulet. I've never understood what's so great about BOTB though. How much life does it give you in comparison to a chest with, say, 100 life?

Sure, use the video as you like ;)
I don't use ele weakness for two reason: 1) Monster are already been killed quickly 2)It would be overwritten by enfeeble from my CWDT setup.
I've never used mobility skills in any of my char, I've ever used quicksilver. But I could definitely.
BOTB, with my setup (3 piece of gear without life), give a little more life then a 100 life chest. If I had life on all the piece of gear it would definitely give more life than that.
But I agree that it's not a really good chests. I use it only because I don't have anything better at the moment
I think i already asked but cant find the answer(if there was one)
1.How does this build perform with RoA? i switched some points around allowing me to run 4 auras (+Purity of Elements because i have total budget gear and this build only gives 10% ressists) and picked up Point Blank. it looks like a crazy multiplier => damage * 1.9 (static blows) * 1.5 (PB) * 1.69 (conc effect) and it is viable with a 4 link, and i dont need to use second skill (i remember ton of roa builds using roa to kill bosses) thanks to that if i ever get lot of currency i can also wear kaoms
also,got this beauty today
Hi Davos, just wanted to say thanks for spending the time to show us all this build. I followed it and I'm a very happy level 84 running all the maps just as you advertised.
Just a fyi to those people thinking of trying the build, there are a few huge "power increasing" spots in this build, you just need to grind thru them. As soon as you have the basic passives that Davos recommends and strap on your 2 6 links this build hits its stride. Before I reached those the build was fine, but not pew pew like it is now.
If you can get your hands on The Taming it turns this build into a POWERHOUSE.. i completely shit on maps... thank you for this build, finally put this old craft to use:
And selling this one to any who needs at a fair price in standard:

I thought about this too but SA will be better in most cases cause u can hit the same Target more than once (Chain...). RoA will be better the more Monsters u hit at once with it.
But as i said, if 6 Enemys aproaching u and u hit them with 6 Split Arrows (each for every Monster): u will have 18 hits cause of the Chain
