[1.0.6] CI Crit Dagger Shadow (30k DPS Flicker Ninja) [OB video up!]

guys I have a few questions I did not find in the `manual` - maybe you can advise:
1. added fire/cold/light damage from jewelry - does it could as physical damage and if so, does it get converted to cold by hatred?
2. same for damage auras - do they count as physical damage and get converted to cold by hatred?
3. for the build designed on page 1, given weapon choices A - 2-100 physical damage, B - 1-50 physical, 1-50 light; A choice would be preferred because more damage is gained from conversion by hatred aura, correct?

This whole thing about the gear, only matters on how lucky you are. For example, I got yesterday my Sin Trek Boots for around 5 gcp. My buddy got them for like 2 chaos -.- . But I guess this luck dependency is an inevitable evil in a item based game.

But thats not the question in my post.
The thing is, should I craft now, or not?
I got this one piece of gear:

Already tried to craft it once, got this far.
The question is, can i get on this one over 500ES? Like first I throw an Orb of Scouring at it, then make it magic, then alter the magic item as long as i get "+xxx to ES" and "+YYY % to maximum ES", then just regal it. I don't have any Exalteds, so I just exalt this piece when I find some Exalts. Oh and of course, should I do all this, or better be waiting till I can get some nice 5L chest?
Because I am really feel desperate now, I hardly can survive alone in the Docks, and I am freakin' 72!

just buy a 450+ for 4-5 gcp and call it a day and then jeweler/fuse it

How to overcome const chill\shock? Ignite is less of a problem as it's "just" dmg. Already got Eye of Chayula and Dream Fragments. Now need to deal with those ones. I assume that's the result of being 1hp CI char... Still there has to be a way. And if there isn't, this game is just ultimately retarded.

cant remember if guide said u should use frenzy skill gem at all, maybe it did.
But the reason why it's not in recomended links/gems. Is becouse that section ("Suggested links") is for later late game.
And something to strive for.

Freezing pulse, fire traps, viper strikes, dual strikes. etc all a matter of decent options while lvling.
And u have to give and take from the options u have, guided by this guide. to make Your own decisions on what is curently best for you.


As an example. at lower lvls i got a 5linkd chest by crafting it quite easaly (luck)
so i used lightning strike+LMP+Faster atcs+crit dmg+crit chance.

But later on i decided to switch out that chest and curently im using only 3 links on it. which holds 2 auras+reduced mana (and warlords mark)

And my gloves curently holds lightning strike+pierce+LMP+faster atcs.
Cause its a decent setup, and easy colors to proc on an Pure evasion item. (maligaros virtuosty).


Hope this helps a bit to every1 who seams a bit confused when some stuff in guide seam to contradict itself.

Very nice uniques. I just saw Maligaro's drop last night, but I was in a party and somebody else snatched them up.

What are your total stats with that gear?

Now, with Chaos resist so ubiquitous (relatively), is there a good reason to go with Chaos Innoculation (disregarding my sig)? I mean, chaos is NOT the 33% of all incoming damage (especially from bosses), even with good armor and elemental resistances, and I doubt you can get any more than 3x the energy shield (or a comparable DPS increase) than what life+ES you get with a CI-less build.

Please spare me the "CI is stil good aftor it's nerf durr hurr" answers; show me some of the almighty numbers instead, if you (or anybody) care(s).

Also, I'm aware that you made a CI-less build of this. I'm not saying "this build has CI that's gay gtfo", I'd like to know the reasoning behind the choice of including that one keystone.
