[1.0.6] CI Crit Dagger Shadow (30k DPS Flicker Ninja) [OB video up!]

Hey Invalesco,


I'm following your build and I'm having a great time with it, but unfortunately at lvl 46 I'm finding it hard to get ES/evasion gear even in cruel. I've gotten some armor/HP/resist gear and it's working fine for leveling but should I start looking for ES gear now or wait until about lvl 60?

Greetings, this is my first char and I have the same issue as stickyrice. I really enjoy the build, but its getting harder to progress. I'm at act 3 cruel with ~600 Shield, ~900HP and 450dmg with double strike. Should i farm somewhere for better dagger(using dagger and shield atm) and gear with more ES or? :)

I didn't find any lifesteal source in your gear, how do you leech ES with Vaal Pact?

I was flying really high dps till about the mid-late 40's and now I'm hitting a bit of a brick wall.

My dps is quite low compared to the other people I'm playing with. At 50 I've found the docks to be the best place to level, but I'm still killing rather slow.

I have Lightning Strike with LMP and pierce, I'm trying different auras to help me dps, but I'm still not able to kill anywhere near the rate of my friends (who I pretty much carried through the normal difficulty and most of Act 1 of Cruel.

Am I just unlucky with gear at this point, or is this tougher stretch for the build?

So 1k ES with discipline is enough to switch to CI?

as long as you have +200% shields, thats what he said. check how much +% shield nodes you have, and the bonus from your int as well (5 int is 1% shields).

Ya what I meant was 1k base ES. I guess I should make it clearer, 3k ES at least before you switch to CI

This is indeed a tougher stretch for the build but mainly because this is where gear dependency kicks in. Once you get better gear (better dagger) and better defgensive gear, things will get better

Hi guys.I`m new to poe but i had my share with arpg`s and other games in general.
A few days ago i saw this post and i decided to try this shadow build.It worked just fine but now,i finished normal,i`m lvl 38 and when i look at my stats,i feel kinda weak.It`s 6 am here so i didn`t play on cruel yet but i have like 900hp,50-60 ES and about 200 dps.
My questions are..when do i start to pile up ES?cuz right now i took op`s advice(wear whateva helps you survive) and when do i switch from dual to dagger+shield?

Invalesco,thx for sharing this build.I was playing shadow lvl 50 3 days ago and i saw this by mistake.5mins later i was starting a new shadow cuz it looks awesome.
