Useless is a bit strong, perhaps non optimal. Reason is twofold, first the way stun and freeze durations are calculated - they use your health that would be if not for CI; second is it would make you more survivable prior to switching to CI. So.. non optimal, since there are other ways to get around stun/freeze issues, but not completely useless.

Being that I'm not as good a player as Invalesco and many others, I'd be real tempted to side with Oak in normal, Kaitlen in cruel, and then kill all three in ruthless and merciless. Granted I'd be weaker at the same level, but I can always over level by 2 in order to make up the difference until at the highest levels. Btw, I mainly play HC so that might be a factor in the way I think here.

I got PoE not long ago, and did some research. When I first came upon your creation, I knew I had to build a similar beast.
I'm still a nub, when it comes to this game, and mostly I'm winging it, but this is what I got so far.

If you got good a Good Claw or Two would you use them in PVP? Or are Daggers still king?

In HC, survivability is key. Just do whatever u feel most suitable. I would pick survivability over efficiency anytime in HC as well.

I would generally just stick to whatever gives me more DPS :) but due to the nature of this build going for dagger nodes at end game, i am almost if not extremely certain that a dagger, even if slightly inferior to a claw will always yield higher DPS.

Hrm, I wonder if for PVP it would be worth it still, for the survivabilty. What do you think? Is the DPS difference too large?

Also, what have you found counters this build?

Ya the DPS difference will be too large, and there won't be that much increased survivability because opponents can use the Sin Trek unique boots or take the bloodless passive node to avoid being life-leeched, rendering the claw implicit useless.

Atm I haven't met anyone who has countered me yet but theoretically speaking this build will be countered by a high evasion, acrobatics physical ranger/shadow build.

I thought that in your PVP Videos there was a Cold Crit Witch that got you a few times, or am I thinking of something else?

hahaha just so happened my end result finished with 69 :p hhaha. this dps was without quality gems by the way. so possibly coulda gained a few thousand more
