[1.0.6] CI Crit Dagger Shadow (30k DPS Flicker Ninja) [OB video up!]

Yeah, I think I will run the spork shadow build come OB, but I've heard they're changing/nerfing shock as well. Ideally, I want to play something that isn't massively gear dependent at first as hitting a wall in merciless after 50 some odd levels isn't too fun and then having to reroll.

Hopefully it will work out, as the spork build is quite fun and kills very efficiently as I've only been using gear I've found/made myself other than trading for the two fast cast wands I'm using currently.

My goal was just to try several interesting/popular builds from scratch to see how fast I could reach end game and start doing maps and so far, the spork build is working out well.

I have two questions:

1) It's better a weapon with ele damage (cold/fire/lightning) or with physical damage?

I have this dagger
Unavailable

and I don't know if I have to change it.

2) I've got ~800 DPS, and ~1500 ES, it's enough for Ruthless?

Thanks!

Some items in this post are currently unavailable.
I'd like to add a few things i've noted while playing this build

1) I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend getting chain for LS and combining it with LMP if possible... its FAR better than fork because it makes the damage much more focused instead of being spread out hitting god knows what mobs.

2) If you like flicker get 2 of them and put some of your spare support gems on it. you can alternate flicker attacks (they don't share a cooldown) with blood rage and CI and have almost infinite flicker attacks without ever stopping. I've found that flicker strike spam kills small groups of mobs faster than LS as long as the mobs aren't TOO strong. flicker is also extremely good for hit and run tactics on hard hitting bosses, you can get 2 flicker strikes in then run out and the boss will barely have time to react.

Soo.. u get Ghost Reaver (life leech restores energy shield instead of life), however i don't understand where do you get life leech in the first place? i don't see it on items? what am i missing?

I totally agree with adding chain support gem to LS + LMP, I've noticed that altho the dps on ur screen goes down a lot intially during the lower levels of chain, your overall dmg on a large pack goes up a lot!

With 1 initial Lightening Strike, u get 5 projectiles, once they make contact with a mob, each projectile bounces 3 more times. That's 15 hits in just 1 click on a mob. When I get my 6L Chest piece (hopefully!), I plan to take out faster attacks and use chain instead. The mana leech is just amazing when you get crits in those 15 hits.

Different FlickerStrike Gems don't share a cooldown? wow im going to build a 5 Flicker-gem endless flicker build xD - just every single item gets flickerstrike with supports in it and one item (6 socket chest) gets phaserun, clarity and so on. You just smash your head on the keyboard and see your char going crazy :D just for the lulz. That's a real flicker ninja :p
Dear Math, please grow up and solve your own problems, I'm tired of solving them for you.
Is still high quality Lightning Strike useful with chain or the chain nullifies the pierce effect?
