hi
how much mana reg. do you guys have ? i have around 20 .... im now at vaal pact but i see no difference. i dont leech enough. any advice ? |

" Vaal Pact in no way affects mana regeneration, so I'm not sure what you are asking. Besides, for this build mana regeneration is of little use (or is very hard to get without making lots of detrimental sacrifices). You need mana leech. Grab the passive node "Mind Drinker", and use the curse Warlord's Mark for both life/mana leech. That should be plenty of leech, but if not, then grab some jewelry with life/mana leech OR if you are really desperate you can use either or both of the support gems, but I've personally never had to use them. I am trying out this build on my 74 shadow after a respec. It's very fun, but I am not used to ci at all-never had a character with it.
I have fairly budget gear at this point. I have 5.8 k Es after dicipline and 12k double strike, 8k ls, 20k flicker with my charges up.. Should I try maps? Or farm lunaris? The only problem is learning to play the build and my 60% fire resist which hurts when unrighteous fire is around. Also leech is sometimes scarce..which I think is from my 75% accuracy? " The leech is not that great because LS is only half physical and DS is only single target. I'd recommend using multi and splash with DS. The deepz is not as high but it still shreds packs and leeches lots of life. I used it on a lvl63 crit dagger shadow (My 2nd one is an experiment but still fits in this spec for now) and was doing lvl66-67 maps easily. My stats were about the same as yours. I still use LS with split up ranged packs or some large packs that would cause desync. EoC is a must if you are facetanking things as a CI though. You also want accuracy on gear but it's not as bad as it looks because that 75% is what you would do against lvl74 mobs(your lvl from post). Max resists is important but if you can't max them all, then the best one to slack on is cold. I can't think of anything that hits very hard with cold besides Piety but that's half psy so it would wreck anyone anyway. ^That amulet is for sale btw. It's an extra one that I found. " are you kidding or what? life leech is great on LS especially on big packs even for mana leech. i have about 100 mana after all the auras (5 auras) and i can spam LS even on just 2 mobs and still having enough leech to spam more. when it comes to leeching it comes to how good your weapon is, the more dmg the more leech signature?
