[1.0.6] CI Crit Dagger Shadow (30k DPS Flicker Ninja) [OB video up!]

LS works good.

My build is based off this build orginally, couple changes. I opted for more frenzy charges, I have a total of 6.

FLicker+multistrike+Increased crit damage+melee damage+melee damage on full life.

Have about 2700 ES, so far so good. Damage is about 27k atm.

GooberM: "How does that not warrant a good ol' stabby-stabby?"
ok guys, since ive seen many people liking this build i was thinking of doing one for ONSLAUGHT league, and it has proven to be REALLY HARD!

at this momenent i have reached level 72 and still have a long road to reach the CI moment i have made some modifications in to invalescos build to be able to survive the changes they did on the leauge, first of i want to give all credits to invalesco for this build. the only thing i did was change it up a bit not much and will now explain some stuff! here we go...

Onslaught League
kaom's heart
eye of chayula

these are removed from the league because all onyx and glorious plates was removed from the league to make it a lot more hard so this meanse that you can get stunlocked a lot more with no eye of chayula. REMEMBER this is hardcore so this is very important because you want to ensure survivabilty, when it comes to softcore its not that important because even with the unique amulet you would still be able to manage quite good but in hardcore no one wants to die!

so as many people said is that this build was not so viable in onslaught because of it, that you can get stunlocked so easy and even frozen but i really dont feel that way, there is ways to overcome these troubles.

So how do we overcome this situation?

pretty easy but hard to get there, Unwavering this is a marauder passive nodes that makes you immunte to stuns but makes you not being able to evade attakcs, that said if you get an attack you cant evade it, you just take the attack straight up (unless you move out of the way before you are hit) and now you are all probably talking about "but if you cant evade, why the hell do we need evasion? then the build is really bad with it!" to be honest no because what you can get in this moment is Iron Reflexes wich converts all your evasion in to pure armor wich with your grace plus your determination togheter with your evasion nodes alone can get you to roughly about 10-11k armor with no big effort or problems.

and after explaining all this mostly of you are thinking "getting all over there is really quite a problem" yes it is you have to sacrifice some things just to get there and you have to reach level 80 before you switch to CI. so what im gonna do now is show you how the tree will look like invalesco crit armor

remember you wont need vaal pact until you hit level 85-88ish, until then i suggest you dont go in maps with the mod reflect dmg, otherwise you can reflect dmg wont do much to you with lightning strike(dont try to double-strike reflecting mobs, 1 crit can kill you)

so to show you people what i have accumilated so far by farming and flipping items, this is what i have gotten so far
Spoiler

as you can see im still missing some important items, that said is Alpha howl (if you have it, you wont need dream fragment (if you are going for a better helm by switching helm for auras you can use dream fragments)

but to end this big post i want you all to know i have still 8 levels to level to get to level 80 to be safe and start doing some maps (yes it gets boring just to level, but i know it will be worth it in the end)

I hope this will be helpful for people on onslaught and i hope that invalesco takes a look at this and can come with some feedback! (ofc everyone is more then welcomed to give some feedback)

im thinking of doing a similar build. Focusing on Flicker strike and staking crit chance and crit dmg..

Is dw dagger recommended over dagger + es shield??

Just trying to get the most dmg out of "Criter Strike" Build
Is there a benchmark of how much Energy Shield you should have at certain levels?

I'm level 72 and I've got 4,000 ES without auras, not sure if that is low or not. Anyone?
SO whats the optimal gems for LS using a 6l?

i tried using LS, WED, Power charge on crit, Crit Dmg, GMP, Faster atts and i found myself not leeching enough. (using lvl 13 blood rage)

and this testing dagger

would getting a 20/20 blood rage solve my leeching problems or do i have to change my gems?

it comes to a personal level here, i run on my 5 link on onslaught LS/MULTISTRIKE/CRIT-DMG/CRIT-STRIKES/LMP and i dont need mana leech tbh since i sustain my mana quite well with mind drinker (passive node on shadow part of the tree)

and about the dagger, to slow attack speed go for one with faster attack speed minimum in my opinion is 1.4

Low life, getting the att speed benefits from bloodrage, Att speed isnt the problem.
The character im testing on wasnt originally a Crit dagger, i respecced into it so this is the only decent dagger i had in my stash atm.

That meaning said my knowledge of this build is limited, Do you rely on the projectiles from LS or the melee part for leech?

attack speed is always good and saying that you dont need attack speed on a dagger is like asking a fotboll golie (soccer) to be slow and catch the ball

Read the rest of what i wrote. I'm using a dagger i had laying in my stash and it just so happen the dagger didnt have attack speed on it. Never said attack speed on a weapon isn't good. Now try answering my question.
