[1.0.6] CI Crit Dagger Shadow (30k DPS Flicker Ninja) [OB video up!]

How do you get the strength for items with this build? I only see one 30str and no other 10str node.

Items can have str too :) u can get 40 str on ring + accuracy + resists + something else etc ::D



BTW, does anyone know if elemental weapon damage is at all useful in this build? cant figure out if it does us any good, if I dont have elemental dmg on my weap etc it does nothing I guess?

The IAS one gives me a good amount more dmg, I suspect it is cause I dont really use wepaon elemental damage for anything ?



This is my weapon so is waepon elem dmg just a wasted stat for me ? if so need new ring, just need the str atm for lvl 11 LS.

oh and btw, does anyone use lvl 20 LS/str gems? and if so how do u manage

You kind of muddle through with items until you're about ready for Vaal Pact, quite a few strength nodes around there, I burned an extra point taking the 30 one there, so 80 in strength nodes and some extra in gear will get you near topping out the few str gems you use.

#1 onyx amulet
#2 Heavy belt
#3 you manage.

#1 use chayula for the stun immune
#2 already have str on belt :D

How does the CI version compare to the armor/hp version?

i would like to know the same :(

imo the HP/armour version is easier to build, because availability of good armour gear is more common. CI version will be tougher because of the rarity of CI gear. CI version will be more expensive to gear up.

Both have their respective disadvantages - CI being more prone to status ailments, HP version having to be more careful when it comes to physical reflect due to not having Vaal Pact and strengths - CI version having a higher damage buffer due to higher ES, HP/Armour version having a nice amount of mana pool and armour, but both will have a similar end-game DPS output.

Personally though I've always loved the CI version more simply because CI melee as a concept is more unique, especially so in HC.

At the end of the day though, both require different gameplay styles: CI being that of ES recovery and HP/Armour version being that of using Health Flasks, therefore I leave it up to the player.
