It still works, it's still very strong.

After 204 pages of this thread you have questions whether this build works still or not? Try reading through some or maybe even the front page of it ;)

The build is still very good.

-Probably one of the hardest builds to master.
-Requires great gear to be fully enjoyable.
-Farming efficiency not as strong as other popular builds.

Once you bypass those obstacles, you will be rewarded with a fun char, very challenging to play well, and a shitload of single dps damage.

How much accuracy / chance to hit is the sweet spot to aim for?

I'd say 80%+

The higher the better.

Gear check !

(i know my belt seems odd)

What should i improve ?

(please dont tell me to 6L my chest ><)

Also, still having some problems with Vaal pact+GR not giving enough ES back, barely at all, actually.
With blood rage i should have enough leech, right ?

Spoiler

that is a very very nice dagger.

your circlet is decent but could be better, your shield is pretty nice as well, but you could prob get more ES if you so wished.

Your jewellery is much weaker than the rest of your gear so you would prob want to look at upgrading them. Yes you should have enough leech with your blood rage. It's not fixed yet so when it gets fixed you'll notice a much more distinct buff to the amount of ES leeched back.

Which skill is it when you use that you do not notice any ES leeched back and what's the DPS of that skill? Also, could it be that because the ES leech is instant, you don't notice it?

Personally, I notice quite a bit of leech back from double strike and flicker strike, but the leech I get back from lightning strike seems almost non-existent. My LS DPS is ~12k with 4 frenzy charges.

In maps if I want to leech I HAVE to spam flicker otherwise my ES just goes dooown down down.

Thank you Invalesco.

I notice the same thing, actually. DS and FS do indeed leech a *bit* of ES, although quite anecdotic compared to the damage i should be dealing (tooltip with 3 frenzy charges is 17-18K on both).

As for lightning strike, it doesnt seem to leech anything at all, despite the 12K dps.

Did not know it was broken.

Concerning the jewelry, i agree it is sub par, but i keep it for the accuracy and attack speed/ mana leech. Should i look for WED on the rings ?

that's very nice dps on ds Qmabyte. The thing is that dps reflects total damage per second. Part of your DPS is probably elemental, which doesn't allow you to leech from, and another part of it is that the high crit multiplier/chance buffs up your actual damage when the base damage is not that high.

This results in your normal hits not getting that high an ES leech, but your crits getting tremendous amounts of ES leech.

LS is 50% lightning and 50% physical, and blood rage only allows you to leech from physical damage. Also, your projectiles with LMP do about 60% less damage, hence why your leech is considerably less. But since LS can be used from ranged, the fact that you can leech from it with relative safety is in itself quite good.

Not to say that LS will be useless if you really need to leech ES. If you group large packs together and if your LS is quality, you'll find your leech noticeably improved when your projectiles pierce and pass through multiple enemies.

Regarding blood rage, at the moment it does not benefit from quality and from inner force. So once that issue is fixed, expect to gain at least 7% extra leech from blood rage.

regarding ur jewellery Qmabyte, it depends on what kind of stats you need right now. If you find that you need survivability, ie ES, focus on Int and ES from rings. If it is DPS that you want, accuracy/attack speed/elemental damage are great. Best would be if you could get all of the above.

My idea of an ideal ring is a prismatic with the 3 prefixes being: %elemental damage, +ES and +mana, and the suffixes being: 7% increased attack speed, high Int/+all to resists, +accuracy.

On another note: i've changed the end-game skilltrees slightly to boost survivability whilst sacrificing a little bit of DPS

would be cool if you added the other 2 end game choices you had on the endgame build part for the new ppl looking into building this, the power charge version, defensive version and the original you had with the increased mana strong arm and es while going down the right hand int path of conduit,

any reason why u changed from power charges ? ive been using that 1 for a week now and has been fun, but personally i feel like they are hard to build up initially and just fall off too quickly. kinda feel like a novelty atm :(

done! oh, I just wanted more survivability, primarily through the elemental adaptation node. ya :/ but i reckon it will probably get better at later levels when your crit chance improves and it gets easier to build up the charges

So, again I'm in a bit of a dilemma, I dig the build but I'm using a bit of a slow claw:

but I just found a decent phys dagger, nothing magic but decent:

Obviously if I respected to dagger my crit would go up and IAS would go up, is that worth the pure phys damage drop? Anyone available to drop some perspective who had tried both a decent claw and dagger? Also I probably try to faceroll mobs more than I should so maybe the LL is more important?
