Wouldnt you rather invest those three points in any of the Increased Crit Chance nodes giving +15% chance x3? You can't specifically farm 1 type of gear anywhere, docks farming is just for EXP and maybe the odd Chaos. Maps is where it's at when it comes to currency. To get ES you use the trade forums, I spent 3 weeks spamming the same thread of "WTB ES Shield" until I got a decent buyer. Without wanting to self promote too much I'd suggest looking at Shop Threads rather than Selling one, take my own shop for example, all of my old gear that I no longer use appears there, e.g. Spoiler Personally I would suggest going for Inner Focus before Vaals Pact. Inner Focus is probably one of the best talents in the game, it added 30% to all buffs on you, not just your own. So when your grouped you get 30% extra from all their auras, you get 30% extra from granite flasks, resist flasks etc. Currently in the game the most powerful spells are the auras so get talents that make them better. And finally I'd suggest, if you haven't already, reading a long post I made a couple of pages back, explaining a lot of the ideas and tactics I use in high end map play. Why would you want to use a pure EV piece when you swap to CI? Level 60 atm, 2.3k ES with Clarity/Disc/Hatred. Going CI at Level 64 (as recommended), but looking to improve my gear. My current gear (replacing boots w/ Sin Trek w/ Double Strike - Inc Melee on Full Life - Melee Phy Dmg - Faster Attacks) Spoiler How else can I improve my gear?
