PoE Helper (unofficial chrome extension to help with crafting/inventory)
" Same problem for me. I'm trying the 0.58 release on Chrome 21.0.1180.75 m. I get the list of characters, but it just spins after I select one. |
|
" Looks like there isn't anything at all in there to differentiate them, other than the fact the same one occurs more than once. I don't even think there is any specific order to them. After the initial merge are the remove only ones at the start or end of your stash? Chrome plugin for inventory/crafting: http://njs50.github.com/poe_ext/

To everyone comnplaining about spinning after selecting a character:
You probably installed the old plugin, not this one. I'd suggest uninstalling it in chrome://extensions. Finding it wherever you download it and deleting all those poe_ext.crx files then download again and install. For the record the current version doesn't have character selection or a spinner. It does have league selection however, it also has a PoE logo on the chrome apps page. There is also a version number up the top right hand corner. If there's still a problem try rebooting your machine :p That seems to help some people. Chrome plugin for inventory/crafting: http://njs50.github.com/poe_ext/

My notifications:
-it still works, only loads/refreshes slowly sometimes. -read-only pages keep the same numbers as they had before, and (if nothing went wrong at the account) are listed in the very same way now in their "new" league (I emptied some pages out and ended with read-only #3 , #5, #7 and #8 , so I now had these 4 pages twice with the same number, since the read-only flag is only visible within the game) -I noticed from the Alchemy check that the extension does scan that pages, but I cant exactly say if it get all data correct out of all/both tabs. (of course, you have to check both pages to find the reported items, but I think that doesnt matter that much) Another thing I've recently seen: all my gems with increased quality have this mod shown as "augmented", and I'm sure I have none of them GCP'ed... " When they first get merged, they get sorted into the others right by there number. (my example: 1-2-3-3r-4-5-5r-6-7...) you can move them arouond ingame, but they keep their numbers. invited by timer @ 10.12.2011

" Yeah it'll add all the items, finding them will just be less easy. Until the website gives some way to distinguish them there isn't really a lot we can do other than guess which is which. " Yeah I had a look at the raw data, anything with +quality also has the augmented flag, so no way to tell if a 20 is natural from what we are given. Thanks for the work on this. Quick question. After following the instructions to install, updating Chrome and verifying v0.58, I think it sort of works.
What I mean is, where do I see the recipes for anything. I see the inv tab and the configure options, the refresh tab, the league select tab, copy to clip tab. I also see the list of everything in my stash and inv etc and it is all correct and colored etc. Where are the recipes listed? How do I see those? There are no references to recipes anywhere that I can see. I am confident this is user error, but please let me know where in the Helper UI they should appear. Thanks. EDIT: I understand the problem now. I added a second character and refreshed it, and I now see the available recipes in whole or part. Thanks. " I think i'll have to make another account and see what this issue is with only having one character sometime. Chrome plugin for inventory/crafting: http://njs50.github.com/poe_ext/

" It's not quite that simple, at least not for my stash. Mine looks like: 2 1r 1 2r 3 3r 4 4r 5 5r 6 6r 7r 7 8 8r 9 11r 10 9r 11 10r 12r 12 I don't recall reordering any of them after the merge but it may have happened accidentally at some point. I do remember having my 11r tab dragged left a bit in the HC race league and that seems to be preserved through the merge which would indicate that the old race league ordering affects it somehow. There's probably not a great way to differentiate, but in the case where the tabs weren't reordered in either league and the doubled up tabs are looked at in pairs, the RO tab seems to be listed second. A kind of tool tip on the tab numbers or something could be helpful, even if it's only really correct in half of the cases it wouldn't make things any worse than having to check both. :) |

Update 0.60:
rewrote base type detection for magic items. removed dependency on item prefix/suffix data. updated item data for maps and fixed a unicode char that wasn't escaped. ... ie. maps should be detected correctly and things with new prefixes or suffixes wont freak out the app. Chrome plugin for inventory/crafting: http://njs50.github.com/poe_ext/ Last edited by njs50#1113 on Aug 8, 2012, 9:11:43 PM
