POSSIBLE BSOD Portcls fix for Creative X-fi's--NEEDS TESTING.

The new creative drivers solved it for me (64bit), they were released about 1 week ago.

Yes, I have the same problem and now is gone, no more BSOD.
My sound cards is SB X-Fi XtremeGamer Fatal1ty Pro and I am using the driver SBXF_PCDRV_L11_2_18_0015A ( 25 Jan 13 ).

good luck
My system goes to powersaving mode after about 30 min. of playing. I have played with my headset (microsoft lifechat lx-3000)(crashes) but my speakers have realtek high definition audio. I haven't tried playing with them. should i use my speakers, or what is the problem and how to fix it?

Thanks already!

yeah I know, old thread - but it helped me a lot, until the last server restart, today - sound issues are back. I have the classic "problem-setup" of an soundblaster x-fi... any suggestions besides this regedit fix?
I have a Asus Crosshair V Formula with a bundled Creative X-Fi MB 2 software solution, but I never experienced any issue with it.

I suppose it isn't the same thing as what's being discussed here.

The thread link takes you to similar problems ruttujututin is having. Every poster there has been using Realtek drivers. However I uninstalled mine and put in a Razer Barracuda card and I am still having lock-up issues.

Since GGG only offer band-aides as their solutions rather than fixing their games obvious problems.

DisableXRAM worked for me, however now I'm getting these problems instead: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/623040

Could be good if you define 'The new' as what model SB Card you have because for me with the X-Fi Titanium HD there is only drivers some 2 years old.
