Lv96 Poutsos' Flicker Nuke - Outdated
I'm a bit new, but the reason you lose dps isn't that you have "Power charge on crit" on your 2 main attacks ?
Having a "Melee physical damage" or a "Increased critical Strikes" on your flicker should get you a big increase, no ? Power charge on crit via Frenzy isn't enough ? |

18k melee splash flicker (with hatred and power/frenzy charges)
15k (without power charges) 29k Flicker single target ( -II- ) 24k (without power charges) I feel like I need to almost double current dps, to make flicker viable for maps (in parties), and solo... maybe 50% more(though some easier ones can do now). Agree with me? ---------- So... for now I think some of you said double strike? Well, sure for single target. But for multi target (and in general imo) I think reave is better, at least asking to give me a reason why Double Strike (or any other skill beats reave at that). And no frenzy, because mana consumption is crazy. My Reave without melee splash (using increased melee) because it's AoE already, and concentrated effect instead of increased crit dmg. So base Double strike with melee and hatred (no charges) does ~10k for me, ~15k for single. Reave does ~13.5k all around. And 47 mana on reave vs 53 (splash), 46 (single) on double strike. So... reave beats double strike? " Minor correction: Darksouls and the Witcher are not ARPG's ( action rpg), they're adventure rpg's....You might have a different understanding of genre's and sub genres. ARPG is also known as hack n slash. stuff dies fast. lots of loot. Neither of those 2 games are on the same planet as PoE. Last edited by DamageIncorporated#7815 on Oct 31, 2013, 12:28:47 PM

" reaching 100k dps is with the gimmicky + 45% phys dmg taken helm. It will be fine for maps, including reflect as long as you dont wear that helm. Last edited by DamageIncorporated#7815 on Oct 31, 2013, 6:05:32 PM

" From Wiki: The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings (Polish: Wiedźmin 2: Zabójcy Królów [ˈvjɛd͡ʑmin dva zaˈbujt͡sɨ ˈkruluf]) is an action role-playing hack and slash video game Dark Souls (ダークソウル Dāku Souru?) is an action role-playing video game Diablo II is an action role-playing hack and slash video game They are all action RPGs,cause the battle is action and not turn based. However i have no clue why wiki calls the witcher -hack n slash.I always considered "hack n slash" as a sub-genre of ARPG's,describing Diablo style games, like titan quest and PoE(lets face it,they are diablo clones). https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/417287 - Poutsos Flicker Nuke Shadow

" Yeah, they DPS is too low to make flicker viable,so it is better to use another skill temporarily. Now about reave vs double strike.Yeah the DPS on reave would be higher with concentrated effect. However concentrated effect makes the AoE area of the skill pathetic, ahrdly qualifying as AoE.So it is much better to not use concentrated efffect with reave.Without it,using increased crit damage instead the DPS will be around the same as double strike with splash, propably lower.THen double strike wins out, since it has full AoR range from the first hit, while with reave u have to build it with each hit,and it will start over anytime u want to curse or use enduring cry or something. However the mana is an issue,if u cannot sustain double strike+splash, use reave. https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/417287 - Poutsos Flicker Nuke Shadow
