Lv96 Poutsos' Flicker Nuke - Outdated

Just wanted to pop in here again after the patch. I believe we are relatively unchanged as a result of the patches, perhaps *slightly* weaker. We need to go further to obtain vaal pact, but as a result of heading down for the pressure points node in the first place, by going to vaal pact, we are able to pick up the Fencing node along the way. We are also able to pick up another frenzy charge on the way to flicker strike.

What are your thoughts on this?

No ES nodes? I want to hear your guys' opinion on the ranger tree. Also with 7 charges.

The es nodes are there o-o> I basically took all the es nodes you took in your ranger build, albeit the es nodes in the witch tree, but I am only a 95 point build atm >^3^>~

Personally, I think the scion start is very weak, as it sacrifices a lot of the damage nodes from the shadow start, but I can see the ranger tree working. You haven't pick up the crit multiplier nodes near the ranger area though, which is what I find the main part of the build, to stack lots of crit multiplier. Still very solid though! :>

Pretty hard hit, dropping discipline is brutal.

im hesitating between purity+hatred with 3200 ES (must find a better chest) or Discipline+Hatred with 4000+ ES and using flasks for resistance..some advice? Hi Poutsos,

first of all, big thanks for the build, it´s highly enjoyable. I hit today lvl 87, with the following tree:



I am unsure, if I should go with "Influence" + "Aura Effect" or aim for "Heartseeker" The other thing is, only 2 Auras possible, so I run "Hatred" + "Purity or Discipline"

What I observed is that I have to recast the Auras when I change the area, as the ES/Dmg tip tool is each time lower then before. - Maybe a bug with Influence? I have to test it today after work.

Hey guys! Here is my current tree,fro level 88!



The tree works just fine.No problems.from my calculations ranger or scion wouldnt work better than the shadow.I havent run calculations for duelist,but i think the shadow still works abit better.So the new tree is not a problem at all,the problem are auras.If i use hatred and discipline,both my DPS and my ES are buffed(7250 ES 68K AoE dps without abyssus with a 5L).The problem is that since i need purity i had to chose between hatred or discipline.At first i though it was a no brainer to use discipline for 1K more ES.However the loss of hatred is very significant and i dont like it.What i am thinking right now is removing death rush for an al resist ring and dump purity(except ele wekaness maps),but the loss of accuracy and 4% life leech is not appealing to me at all.The best it would be to find a belt with 4 high resists and strength to use instead.As of now though,if ur gear is good enough to have capped resists,u dont lose anything from pre-release.(If i dont use death rush and have no accuracy on my other ring i ll respec out of "aspect of the pnther" to get finesse".Since i am swamped from work and university i have tested anything extensively,thats why i havent upgraded the main page yet.I havent even beat dominus merciless.However the whole reduced XP penalty,did it really happen?I havent noticed.Do u have to beat Dominus to start taking effect??
Amilcar,ur tree looks pretty mmuch as mine would look.I have the same concerns as you about auras.
Bishopz,our trees look almost identical :D.I quetioned myself about auras buff vs heartseeker as well.I decided to take heartseeker,since i think it is superior after all.

The build looks great, that is about what I did too. One suggestion I would make, you could spend 2 passives to get another maximum Frenzy charge at the bottom. I would think that would be 2 point better spent there than some of the other dps passives wouldnt you?

i tried aura buffs, it's huge, but very annoying, because you have to cast them every time you change location to be buffed(ex. entering from the laboratory into a map, you have to recast). So, i decided not to use that. what's the point of buffed auras if i forget to recast them. Maybe it's a bug and GGG will fix it soon.
Here is my build at lvl 89(still working on it though):
I like the new location of Vaal pact, it gives me another reason to reach the last frenzy charge :)
