Lv96 Poutsos' Flicker Nuke - Outdated

GRRRR means flicker + ms + mp + mpof + iiq/added fire/melee splash. The utility/damage potential for this combination is pretty damn high, and I find that running melee splash is almost always a great choice because you can casually oneshot packs that way. If you had a blue slot, power charges on crit or crit damage are both very good.

If you decide you prefer a blue slot ... can i have that chest? :D Would kill for that.
GRRRBB is my chest

Typically Splash|flicker|power charge on crit|Crit multi|physical melee|Multi strike

It was the best combination for mob farming, like I stated before if its boss time swap splash out with physical on full life.

Btw I do own a Tabula Rasa so if someone has combinations to try out send me a message. I will put them in and let you know the results.

Also, for all the PCoC fans, added fire turned out to be better than pcoc and 4 charges up. Added fire out performed the power charges by a few thousand, which was enough to convince me to abandon power charges for good.

With my grrrr chest I'm at about 75k dps. It seems noone else on this forum besides the OP has gotten the abyssus, maligaro's and magnate yet. The abyssus and malis are definitely needed, the magnate isn't as essential for dps, but if you're hard pressed for strength, then get one. My resists are low and ES is at 4k, and the only thing that kills me is reflect (and ocasional stunlock - anarchy :(). And desync ofc...

Also, people have mentioned running in groups and needing to stay back bc 'you are not a tank'. I have found that dps = surivability. As long as you one shot mobs, then you don't stop flickering. In groups this is tougher, which means you need higher dps. Once I hit 55k dps I was able to take out groups alone in a 6 man group just by flickering. At 75k dps I can run the whole map with little support, often I don't even notice the boss, it just melts with the rest. MF Cullers don't like me much.
Most fun I've had on PoE is with this build, thanks a lot! It's fun to clear mob packs before dischargers, you know :D.

Mandatory noob gear:

Mandatory low DPS:
I'm running around 50k dps with splash and 70k w/o splash. I tried getting 4xR 1xG on a pure ES chest but it drained me too much so I had to buy AR/ES mix just to get a decent 5L. Playing on Anarchy so no EoC, it's a pain but manageable. Next thing I want to upgrade is my dagger(268 DPS, 218 pDPS) and then move on grinding for a 6L.

Added fire is always better than PCoC when you have the option of running it. If you were referring to my previous discussion of the use of PCoC it was pertaining to the swapping of crit chance for PCoC.

As for dps = surviability I agree if you can 1 hit the mobs by all means, the situation when you run into something you can't one shot them is where the survivability has issues. You do have more DPS than most of the people in this thread.

I've played 20 ish 72+ maps with this character and due to my lower dps (max 40k single w/o splash) I have to stay back. Rushing in will simply result in me burning all my frenzy charges up.

The way you play this character is it similar to the OP? where you stop every 2-5 seconds and hit Lstrike to stop the desync/recover mana/stack shock. Or do you play primarily depending on flicker strike?

If you can sustain flicker for a long time I can see how pure DPS will work in all situations (phys reflect aside).

I'm working on crafting daggers atm, can you post yours?

Are the stuns pretty noticeable w/o EoC?

I did some testing, and you're right. Added fire outperforms pcoc slightly (mine is only L18, 0q). However, there's some interesting scaling going on. The base gems are flicker, ms, mp, mpofl. Fire increases base by 29,8%, PCOC (4) increases it by 25,8%, crit damage (118%) increases it by 21%. Assuming a 6 link, running PCOC + fire would be the most beneficial though, as that gives an increase of 63.4%. I couldn't test added fire + crit damage, but PCOC + crit damage only had a 53% increase.

The thing is, pcoc increases my crit chance from 62% to 82%. This, combined with the lower mana multi, might make it better if you have a really high multiplier because it will guarantee more consistent crits. A pack that has been oneshot is always your best defense with this build. So, yes ... i really want a 6l with 4rgb, but i'm too poor for that. :(

I've thought this situation might be true, I have a rasa so I can test this out when I get home tonight. The mana multiplier is a factor for me since I dislike having less than 250 mana open. A draw back of using PCoC is that it requires an extra passive. I do not have the high crit multi like some players have so I will test these in compared to my other setups.
When you are doing these changes, the extra crit chance is less which surprises me. What is your current crit multiplier? Do you use any curses? I would wager that fire is a great choice but that pcoc could be better if you had 6 max charges, or a lower base crit chance. Going from say 30% crit chance to 60% with 6 charges would outpace added fire, right? I am making this build and trying to see what way I should go.

I grinded Lunaris from 68-78ish and I got stunned a lot, didn't die as much as because of desync but they were really noticeable and had a lot of close calls. You can tank them out with high enough ES and spamming flasks.

I believe my HP was around 3k and my main skill was double strike with splash on a 4L. I had 8% life leech at that time from gear so survivability wasn't an issue when I got to hit the mobs.
