Yes it is. It'll cost ya like 5-10 chaos max and you'll have so much easier time getting through. I mean even getting brightbeaks/mightflays which are 1 chaos I think are a great investment.

I don't understand how people reach upwards of 100k at all... Will a dagger upgrade to like 250pdps help? 192pdps atm.

they reach it because of high accuracy, 6 frenzy charges and 95% chance to crit. I can barley muster 59% chance with 4 power charges and I am baffled how OP did it. his dagger does have 2% more base chance to crit than mine, but, I did the math and he would be around 83% chance to crit with my base. So what gives OP? How you get to 95%? :)

PS. also you can't reach more dmg with that 200dps dagger. You have to count in that critical multiplier amplifies base damage by a ton, so 300 dps dagger would give 40-50% more dps at least.

1. don't look at dps that people say.
look at damage per hit.
Poutsos's dmg with abyssus is old screen with dps
rest is
Flicker Strike-Multistrike-melee on full life-melee physical-increased critical damage-additional accuracy

I think that dps wroted by Poutsos is multipled by crit multipler %
Because main goal is maxed crit chance and multipler.

2. Your dagger is only 162 dmg.
Poutsos dagger is 298 dmg
Mine is 244 dmg

When you are searching for dagger look mainly for
dmg (not dps) attackspeed is not important here. (its important for other your attacks but not for flicker strike)
So just add min dmg + max dmg /2 and search for it on poe.xyz

3. Second most important part is accuracy.
Aim to have 95% chance to crit and 85+ chance to hit
Thats why he wrote this amazing numbers. when 95% of your hits are crit you multiply this dmg per hit by crit multipler!

Poutsos have 93% I have about 87% chance to hit and its working fine.
For crit chance we are using power charges.

And remember 90% of posts in this thread with dps numbers are before patch.
People are saying about dps from tooltip that was never existed :)

In flicker strike most important is hitting like truck from the hill, your speed depends on fuel (frenzy charges)
My record is Dried Lake in 1 minute 48 seconds.

4. you have serious lack in gear if you need to take all this +30 stats in passives.
Change belt! your rustic sash can be super when you can afford to spend passives for stats.
Poutsos used Magnate now he is using Auxium, thats why he have str passives.
I prefer Meginord's Girdle, maybe because I can't afford legacy Auxium now.

I posted a modified MF flicker build based on this. I personally think it's better because of the higher DPS and MF, but i recognize that it is more expensive. Let me know what you guys think of it.

Hi, Flicker Striker was my first Char in open beta.
Now he is finally lvl 85, and still misses some passives. I think I got pretty decent gear and Flasks, but still, average dps of flicker strike is only about 3k. I need few tips, and maybe some gear I would buy.
I think I should change the dagger and Alphas Howl. Also need ilvl80 Champion Kite Shield.
I hope somebody can help me out.
Also, the surviability is quite low, I have only about 5K ES with discipline.

PS. I have some exalt I would spend on good dagger, about 15 I think, is it enough?

Just how important is Melee Splash dmg with Flicker Strike? I am mostly limited to a 5l chest.

For you guys who ran this build on first characters or in new leagues, how did you go about finding gear?

Found Maligaro's Virtuosity and Divination Distillate while leveling... Also found a good two-handed maul for 15 chaos.

Well, shouldnt MF build use MF gear in most slots suitable for MF (like helm, for example, or gloves)?
Having such low IQ isnt effective way to do MF. You better use Sadima/Goldwyrm.
Why going low-life? Gear is extremely expensive, and your ES will suck = you will die often.

Verdict - insanely expensive to build up, doesnt have good MF, too squishy, dies often. Good to farm dominus/piety/low-level maps without tough mods till you drop, but lol, there are TONS of builds able to do that, and with MUCH cheaper gear.

Thanks for this Build. Playing it with fun.

I have very nice equip and I stream it for a while and try to give small advices for players who ask about the build.
