I already made it work, though crit chance isnt impressive ATM - just 83% (with 10.04% crit chance from dagger), but i find it fine because i have no items to improve it. My hit chance is 86% ATM, and i'm aware that isnt enough. I skipped reduced mana skills ATM because my mana pool seems to be enough to sustain flicker with IR and IQ gems (they have no mana multiplier). I also had to waste 2 point on +30 dexterity nodes, because i lack proper gear. As for aura buffs - yes, i'm aware that having 45% more damage as cold instead of +36% bumps numbers greatly, but in fact, it isnt as useful as it seems, because cold damage can be resisted, thus reducing its effectiveness by up to 4 times. Also, it does no leech. Perhaps, if i manage to get few extra levels and get rid of those dexterity nodes, i will take Influence.

I'm curious if there is a way to do this build with a scion start rather than Shadow. Less optimal I know, but is it wasting too many points to be viable?

If you try mine build, it will actually gain more resistances as a scion, but lack of mana and certain stats. Still could be made viable. With scion, you just getting path through middle, instead of pathing through int or dexterity nodes around.

It has stronger auras and with less reservation,very slightly higher ES,but definetely lower damage.I think the shadow is still the best choice for this build,with the witch becoming a very close second.Ranger is flat out worse,nothing to give than a worse starting aera(for this build),and the duelist has some intesting options,but if u want to build it this way,he loses to shadow.So the best clases to try that is the witch or the shadow,with the shadow having more damage,while the witch has ore mana and slightly higher ES


I found your post here Poutsos about the scion start and you mentioned a witch start would be better. Can you recommend a build for witch?

Also curious what you think about your build for duo mapping?

Might be a better option for me since I don't want to run Abyssus anymore... I've had about enough fun with it and I'm tired of one shotting myself. Kinda curious what exactly that unique helm means.... modifiers to spell dmg apply to attack dmg. So instead of a high ES shield with res I should get a high ES shield with spell dmg?!

thanks for the help... i havent hit a problem with anything till i hit act 3. i was hoping to grind out some xp to be able to power through it because i made the mistake of not getting life in the beginning. I think one of my problems is low resists and stun. how would you suggest i change everything. is there a way to buy a full respec or anything?

yeah, same, was just xping a while ago then bam, im dead, lol, not to mention that str requirement on it, i need to equip a +51 str amulet AND +35 heavy belt just to equip it, after its on only then can i switch back to chayula

also wondering what the last stat on the unique means, afaik the guys on the reddit say spell crit chance wont work, but the spell damage might, they arent that sure either as thats the only one thats currently dropped and cant test it

edit:

out of curiosity, has anyone tried the build with the improved rat's nest? wonder how much crit that adds, specially for the likes of us that dont have a 10%+ crit on dagger :P
