Fisting in 11.1 HanFistedFirst - Lvl 81 Facebreaker/Bringer of Rain Melee Build [Updated]

I'm solely using Dominating blow + increase phys damage + melee splash and it's pretty awesome at the moment, feels as strong as my infernal blow. But I just feel like I don't get as much loot? Might just be my brain playing tricks on me.

But do you guys recommend Multistrike?

I'm fine as it atm Lv.51 Onslaught FB.

Also anyone know the quickest way to train/level? about to be act 1 merc soon.
Here is my build with slight difference than hanfistedfirst

It is more life with extra frenzy bubble for blood rage.
I do 9.3 aoe damage and about 13k single target, 2.7k life, 10k armor, 64% block (w/ determination/hatred/haste/tempest shield)
You will finish in lvl80, after that you can go inc block for 70% block, or increase aoe effect

Yeah, Infernal Blow if I get really ridiculous reflect mods, I just do dominating blow. Dominating is lots of fun with increased durations (having 40+ minions in certain things), but if you have any friends that have trouble running the game, you will crash them, heh.

Yeah, Rainku, all our dps should be around that. I found a ring that got me to 14k single target, so there's hope for going higher with perfect gear (and 11.1 !!!!!), but we'll just have to see.

Health is for sissies. Just my opinion.
U should go CI lol 1HP
Super Manly :P

I have a feeling you have opened up a whole new can of worms for me, Rainku...

I'm still working on the levelling guide on this, but really, it's going to be something like: Hit lvl 16 and proceed to do whatever you want...

Anyone have issues with any build that includes facebreaker ever?

Thanks for the reply Justice. To be frank, I think I'm not finding it too bad yet because I'm simply doing easy runs for levels, but I want my puncher to eventually be capable in maps.

I'll seriously consider shield passives since you stand by them. How about endurance charges? Reckon they're necessary for maps, or simply a good piece of convenience? I'm not terribly fond of having to keep charges going but I will if they're absolutely needed.
I'd say that endurance charges are necessary for the harder map rolls. Really though, if you have a hard map roll, you can cheese it out by switching to dominating blow. In a lot of the tight maps, especially if you run increased duration, this results in you more or less snowballing the number of minions you have until you get to the end and then they just kill the boss. (when I do this I generally link BM-DB-Duration-splash. If you don't get duration you've got plenty of time and can use multistrike as well).

I guess I should put up more map videos of this guy. I haven't had issues with maps yet, and I've done a few harder rolls lately. Elemental reflect is literally the worst roll you can get if you stick to the infernal blow build, by the way.

Once I have better gear, I'll reevaluate the shield passives. I use them to get loads of stats. In general, I think this is really beneficial.

Cheers man, thanks for yet more advice! I'm busy now so I'm taking a couple days off POE, but I'll continue checking back here and evaluating.

Thanks also for the suggestion on using DB - It's personally preferable to trying to redo my passive tree just to pick up the Endurance charges. I messed up a bit though, 'cause I just took the End. charge rewards from Merc. Bandits, but I'll deal with it I guess.

I do agree that the shields really open up lots of good defensive stats, especially if you forfeit armor to use Bringer - it almost acts like an armor substitute. Very tempting.
Thanks for the build. Need some clarification:

For AoE/trash you use Infernal Blow with Multistrike/Melee Splash/Added Fire? If you get a 5 or 6 Link is it worth adding anything other than IIQ/IIR?

For Bosses you use Dominating Blow? Or do you just use the above and only use DB for ele reflect bosses and tough maps?

I'm confused whether you took Blood Magic or not. Do you take it as a passive and use no auras or do you use the BM gem instead of Melee Splash (or do you sub it in for something else?), so that you can use auras?

Thanks.
Hi Jackals,

I take bm gems now, so my general trash sockets are BM - IB - SPLASH - MULTISTRIKE
For bosses I switch the splash for added fire.

I've specced out of Blood Magic on the passives so that I can actually run some auras. Wrath, haste, and then a defensive are what i'm doing currently.

I only use dominating blow on really hard maps (reflect) and I'll use it the entire time. This way you take little to no damage and the minions do all the work for you.

The socketing would be BM - DB - Splash - Multi as well.
