well, I for one am not that crazy about the eternal orb, which really is for end game. what I would like is for currency drops to increase by a whole order of magnitude, so casual (and no, 4 hours a day every day is NOT casual, or normal but pretty hardcore.. ) and normal players who are still playing the usual content (not maps!) can again use crafting. I have been here since closed beta, and had around 25 or more characters several to the 60`s and have only seen a grand total of 4 exalted drop! 4!!
This is not nearly enough for crafting anything, and the only *legit* way atm to get enough currency is through endless bouts of trading, but that is ***BORING***.
i agree, the currency drop rate needs some sort of revamped system. ive only ever dropped 2 exalts myself, my friend only 1 whom had it swiped because he didnt reach in time, and because of that fact the current trade is literally, non existent for casuals/non farmers.
what some think as insane price is nothing to the players that farm endlessly on maps, they got lucky, found some stuff to get them started, and are now extremely well equipped (yes luck, no skill is involved in finding an item being traded, or dropped in environment. saving your orbs doesnt count).
trading now compared to what it useto be, is practically economical suicide. no one wants to trade because of the insane rates. most farmers or traders are off in the league races, also why prices have risen.

I think it would be a great idea to at least add some more stash tabs for non-paying users. I've bought several myself, but i do feel just 4 stash tabs for people with no money is a little unfair. I'm thinking about the possibility to earn more tabs would be a little more balanced. That will give non-paying users a chance to save more items from the new leagues and prevent people from just making multiple accounts. 4 tabs just isn't enough to be fair.
One way of doing this is you could use the 4 month leagues as a way to get extra tabs. The first two tabs in each four month league transfers as new permanent tabs to their respective leagues at the end. All other tabs will still transfer with the normal 'remove only' tab.
Either that or just give non-paying users a few extra tabs.
Just letting my idea flow.

Pay to win??????? Because you cant afford a couple dollars for some stash tabs? GTFO. Mow a lawn save your allowance, get a damn job. Ask mommy for a few, but dont come in here spouting that garbage.
I've spent about $80 on tabs, I have a job and I have the advantage, but i feel i have too much advantage against people who play for free. Grow up and learn how reasonably debate somebody and maybe tell me why you disagree. Insulting people you don't agree with makes you look like a retard.

I honestly dont see the point of the eternal orb. I'd say most people dont try to link equipment that they already have, rather link EQ that they had bought. So its not like you need to "save" the previous links cause you are using something else and are attempting to link something new to equip for the first time. the function is probably only for a very niche group of players, and depending on how rare this item is, it will only function to become another currency item like exalts.

Think what you want if you are playing the game enough to need the tabs, the least you can do is give GGG 10 bucks and get the tabs you need, I am not taking advantage of anything. Everyone wants hand outs these days, I dont feel sorry for the people that cant afford tabs one single bit. They can afford the computer they are playing the game on as well as the internet it is hooked up to, but cant afford 10.00, GTFO

Do we have to use the imprint on the exactly the same item, or can we use it on another one which is the same type (like an imprint of rare chain belt on another rare chain belt)?
then it would be more powerful then mirror of kalandra, so Im almost 100 percent certain they will not do this. Unless they want 2 items that does the same thing.

Here's an idea:
Make another orb with a similar function, where it copies the stats of one item which you can imprint on a different item. Do you like the appearance of that heavy suit of armor, but it has little to no uses for you because you're a witch and lack the strength? Copy the stats and requirements and gem slots from your current robes and imprint it to the heavy armor! Now you'll be wearing a metal suit with the stats of your robes.
The orb can only apply to items that actually have stats and only imprints stats to items that go in the same equip slot (chest armor for chest armor, boots for boots, etc).
this wouold be extremely op.

Come on, i love full evasion builds but this patch make it less viable compared to other ones now.. Did you think about this CHRIS!?
how will they make them less viable? they will make them more viable, since they will reduce damage of mobs, wich was the reason it was lacking since you would get 1 shotted before...??

Sadly, you did not understand what I wrote.
I wrote about "normal players".
Normal player will never get 1500 fusings in their playtime. 6L is never an option for normal players. If a normal player finds an Eternal Orb, he will use it as currency for trading some better gear.
sadly you were the one who did not read, you wont need that many fusing to get a 6l or that many jewel to make a 6s. they are implementing a system to make it easier with item quality. a normal player will not need that many orbs anymore. whetstones and armorscraps are almost as common as wisdom and portal scrolls. they are improving the system, and making it less difficult for that to occur.
plus normal players, will eventually be playing endgame maps. where currency drops will be much more common when mixed with the new loot system, because the casuals can have loot 2 name system. they are always improving it, they realize the difficulty in rolls, so they are incrementally improving it, bit by bit.
a "normal player" plays the game, and will eventually make it to endgame. at which point they will eventually use the orb. your point, invalid. no bases for your case, as all the points you've given, are based on your opinion, conjecture, not fact.
6ls are capable of dropping as well, tho rare. ive had 2 5l whites drop so as rare as the drops are, still possible, like rolling an andvarius with a chance orb, which i have managed to do ftw. unlikely to get that many fusings in their playtime yes, impossible no, casuals never going to use such an orb? its like saying "normal players" wont reach endgame. ive got plenty of casual friends with better shit then me, and i play more often than them.

Good day, Sire you have just been served. Care for a spot of tea?
Why are you so aggressive? How old are you? o.o
The whole stuff you wrote does not even include ONE argument against mine.
I said "Normal players will never use Eternal Orb for crafting, only as a currency".
Because: low drop rates mean: Currency value > Crafting value.
Btw, the drop chance of currency in endgame maps is not any higher because item quantity in maps does not influence currency drop chance. Plus you need to use currency for playing maps/progressing, so as an endgame player you actually have less currency available.
But this all has of course nothing to do with my main point (that you failed to understand in two posts now), that Eternal Orbs drop rates are too low for normal players to use it as a crafting tool.
Increase drop rates of Eternal Orbs -> players actually can use it!

Speculations based on your imagination, datas not being available. What if each scrap increases your chances to get a 6L by 1% only? Do the maths.
