Path of Exile 0.11.0

pretty awesome
and the only missing thing is the storyline
This has to be the best patch notes (or semi completed patch notes doesn't matter) that i have ever read in any game i have ever played. Its like i patched the game myself with everything i considered good.
All my work on Softcore feels like its for nothing now. All the time i spent making exalts to buy that certain item is just useless. All my friends will go play league, and I don't want to start a new charactor. Perhaps I'll just join the trend of quitting.

If I use the new orb on a 4modded item and I use 2 exalteds on it which mods I dont like, can I set it back and get new mods with 2 more exalteds? This would be almost gamebreaking since you could redo that as often as you get the perfect item?!

perfect them will cost you many exalted orbs and many eternal orbs, Eternal orbs will be harder to find then exalted. So yes you can "perfect" an item, but it will cost you two arms and two legs.

What about this - no onyx bases = no eye of chayula = CI builds taking a massive hit, especially melee CI becoming near impossible?

There is still unwavering stance to avoid getting stunned.

yes in the exact opposite position from CI on a massive skill tree, making it very unlikely you could make a functioning build with both

We've reduced all monster damage and have made corresponding reductions to player Life and Energy Shield passive skills. Physical damage nodes (both general and weapon-specific) have been substantially increased. As a result of these changes, characters rely less on life than they did previously. Defensive options such as armour are substantially stronger now, more than offsetting the lower life totals.
When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. Since his life model decoy isn't up to the task, please do not mistake my performance as political discussion. I'm just doing what Steve would have wanted.
Wow, really looking forward to the new leagues and challenges. Very impressive list of improvements.
This looks like great stuff. Anarchy, the hp/es rebalance, and the new items look great.

I feel onslaught is a big disappointment however. I play a lot of poe but probably not enough to finish all the challenges. Which seems to be the main reason to play the onslaught league. So being a dedicated hardcore mode player up to this point I can either, play anarchy which sounds awesome, but then end up with no transfer over to hc league at the end. Or play in a league that's basically mini-turbo for 4 months and take the spoils back to hc.

I'm guessing onslaught isn't a hc anarchy league cause rogue exiles are rip city. That's a shame could've made for some awesome
moments in that league.

On well maybe next time. Thanks for what looks like a great update ggg.
Looks sweet. I don't think I got what it takes but winning material items form playing a game is a pretty interesting idea.

Yeah but to get there, assuming the orb is more rare than exalt, you'd need shitton of currency.
It does give the potential of some sort of constrained RNG crafting like that, but at extreme costs (I would imagine anyway). We'd have to figure what drop rates will be.

I mean technically you can do that with alt-regal-ex regardless if you have infinite amount of them... yet how many people are actually crafting like that anymore at all? I for one would like to have that part of 'crafting' back into viable instead of using ex as currency only, which is what happens now.
