I think the contents of the last few comments/posts affirms my belief in that people smoke crack, do not read the original post, then write oblivious statments

" I believe what hes asking is that if he had items turned off that all rares/uniques/linked items would show up.. Beta Member Since 0.9.0 | Current Character : ExExCorpse

when I have 12 stash tabs in SC league, do I keep them in the Anarchy or Onslaught league or do I have to re-buy?
Edit: Another off topic question: Just bought this for 2 GCP unid because I never did a unique map and was rly curious how it is. Do you have any advice for me? Wanna solo it and add a Devour Totem + FC to my helmet against the undead. Last edited by DJSRP#5494 on Jun 2, 2013, 10:14:24 AM

There are some weird trains of thought going on in this diskussion.
I guess one of the problems is this: Most of the people engaged in this forum and on this site, are not casual gamers. And that is sort of a problem for the devs, because those gamers will eventually get excluded from the game as the hardcore gamers (not talking about the league...) dominate the feedback. People complaining about the game beeing to easy are not the 99% of people who would like to play the game. I have seen people stop playing after Crematorium (the first one) because they where completly discouraged by Piety. I have seen others quit after dying constantly and loosing exp. because of it and than not being able to lvl up anymore. This game will eventually need a base of casual gamers with families, work and other hobbies. Those people (like me) want to play 1/2-1 hours, like 4 times a week, maybe longer on weekends. These players like to see a little bit of progress everytime, have a good time, and then they stay with the game, build different characters, and eventually spend money on it. I honestly do not think that standard is the place to be for these types of gamers atm. All those ex Diablo II-Players now not students anymore. It is still to hard. My friend and me needed about 45 Minutes to kill merciless Piety. We died like 80 times. I couldn't kill her myself in single player, because she One-Shot me with every skill she has, she would probably have killed me with spitting if that would be implemented. It was not at all a pleasant experience. Same with the map we tried afterwards. Conclusion: I think there needs to be a Casual League. 25% less damage and health for mobs. Higher overall drop rates. Don't mess up the ecconomy and the difficulty for the core fans. Just create a new area for the weak and time-limited to have a little fun. No need to nerf there, it is supposed to be easy. Just my 2 cents. |

Stash tabs are account bound so you have your tabs in all leagues

" it would be nice if there is some way to get some okayish gear in a relatively easy way. the game can vary ALLOT between almost unbeatable to hardly breaking a sweat. and that is most of the time thanks to rng. the usefullness of most of the items vary from junk(at least 95%) to a slight sliver of gear that gets you thinking "hey maybe i could use this for..." in which you maybe get some okayish gear for your self. anything besides that is the 0.1% that gets... "the item" things which most guides are written about and items everyone here seems to get without problems. diablo 2 did a good job to provide allot of uniques and set items for starter gears there is no such thing in poe (actually there is... but tabula rasa on the 2 exalt mark well...) not saying there should be increasing drop rates for uniques etc. but something like much more 4 link stuff at the vendors with a tendency for increase armor/evasion/es/weapon damage would help allot |

" yea, nothing is going to be easier than standard. ever. if you died 80 times with your friend on piety, then you should have joined a group fighting her or made it public. not everyone has a great build granted, but if you died 80 times on merciless, and were 1 hit koed? clearly you were doing something wrong. maybe you didnt switch out some rings for resistance, maybe you didnt take the appropriate amount of health/es required to actually survive more than a single hit from a boss. either way the damage of enemies is being scaled down, and armors usefulness increased. i have plenty of casual friends play for 1-2 hours maybe once or twice a week, then i dont see em for a long while, none of them have ever had that kind of problem. piety wasn't designed to be solo or small party. the handful of players that can solo her, are either good enough to do so through kiting, or have a real good build. people that fight her in small parties often have some decent overall damage and health, not good just decent, enough to beat her with some effort. im sorry, but thats just the truth, the conclusion is you need to wait for the next patch, see if the changes make it easier, and if they dont, find some better gear perhaps or try again. i have never had that problem, and im severely lacking in the gear department. good luck State of Beyond Mechanic: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3568084

This game is amazing. Grinding Gear Games continues to blow me away with the features.
Wow, what an absolute JOKE Diablo 3 was. |

" Remember that this game has nowhere near the amount of uniques as D2 yet. They are slowly but surely adding more with each update. |
