0.9.11 Two-week Hardcore Race League

not sure if anything can be done about this. I was in town, got DC'd came back and was in default league. Anything like that happen to anyone else?

6 hours left. I'm going to sleep lvl 72 at #19.

RIP my 44 Marauder, cleared the shipwreck area (where you turn in the all flame) just fine...went back to farm it a bit and got stun locked by rhoas : / up till that point NOTHING dented my high hp / regen. I thought I could get away with a leap, but the lil bugged charged me MID air for the kill shot...least it was an impressive death lol.... was really looking forward to those currency orbs >_<

You are safe. I am in the 23rd place and did some calculations and it was going to be impossible to make it into the top 20 unless people above me die.

So you will be in top 20.

This was the first time I had ever played a character past level 20 in hardcore, and the first character that I ever played above level 62.

I wasted a LOT of time messing with stuff I didn't understand.

For instance I had never done a map before. I didn't know how they worked. I also had only done the Act II boss 2 times prior to this tournament.

I was pretty happy getting to level 71 (23rd place) being that I am not a veteran PoE player and have mostly been just goofing off so far.

level 80 is at least ~835 million xp, so he would need to make >40 mil within the next 5 hours, doesnt really seem realistic to me... but who knows ^^

imo the risk (dying and getting nothin) vs reward (650 orbs) isn't great enough.

I think, if you've managed to avoid risksover such a long race time, you can guess it right and keep it low (on your side - I noticed some heavy server load today when I've started, seems that lots of people tried to reach a goal ;)

Aaaah finally done!
I hit 70 30 mins before event ended, didn't really think i'd make it a few days ago.
Started playing poe for the first time about 6 days into the event, the went on to lose my first char at lvl 50 with
2 low level deaths after that.
Thanks to the GGG devs for a fantastic game in making and for a great event!
