0.9.11 Two-week Hardcore Race League

We've got a new leader:
Account:Pitnox
Character: HighwayToDefault (Marauder)
Level: 62 (177M Exp)

Here you can look at time he played (event devided into 2 hour periods). It seems he plays without any break :)

Him or Them? ;)

BTW, I love the stats on your site, yours inspired me to do something better with mine.

How often are you grabbing the data to predict if someone is online or not? I'm just wondering about accuracy.

Is it possible one could take a ~10 minute break and it wouldn't be noticed?

We're coming into hour #49 here at the two-week hardcore race league, and Metronomy is back into first place at level 62. Tracking closely behind is Pitnox in 2nd place with his level 62 Marauder. Right behind the leaders is IMDisappoint at 61. AidenBlah is in a comfortable 4th place at level 60 and rounding out the top 5 is Guadagno at 58.

10th place is Barsin at 53, and 20th is Pheonid at 45.

There haven't been any major upsets in the past few hours, lets hope things get more interesting soon!

(Reminds me of NASCAR and how people only watch to see the crashes)
TehHammer is not a crime!

As you can see on our website, we measure that in 5 minute periods. It is based on experience gains, so if you stayed in town 20 minutes it says you were inactive/offline by that time.

Ps. We plan to release english version of this stats soon.

Major update? Im in first, I wasnt expecting that lol (first to 63) but I have to go again now so lets see everyone speed ahead =)
Three bug-related deaths mark the end of my patience with this race, back to default I'll begrudgingly trudge I guess. Good luck to those left!
I do find it interesting the amount of people who complain about lag and game mechanic issues causing their deaths yet some players like IMDisappoint manage to consistently perform and never winge about these issues.

If he died and complained, I think it would hold a lot more weight.
The hilarious part about this race was that I even thought that I could win while working full time. I'll stick to the three hour ones, thank you.
Check out http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/41078 and post there to support having solo-only and party-only event modes!

It doesn't really apply to GGG as they're pretty proactive with communication and prompt fixes anyway, but with many devs it can take a wall of repetitive dead-horse-beating whines to get anything done about bugs.

Most of my problems aren't really fixable as such anyway, as I play in New Zealand and anything better than 275ms ping and frequent 3000ms spikes is a good day, so I know it's my own fault for persisting with HC. It's just a shame that default just doesn't really do it for me I guess.

It's a possibility that he has a good internet connection and a computer setup that works perfectly with PoE, which are things not everyone has access to.
